Yeah then I somehow warped to the game and played special teams for the canes so dont take it too seriously it was odd.
Weirdest dream ever is pretty much all I can say. I turn on the TV and see the score is 93 to 46, they come back to make it 93-86. I somehow warp the Miami sideline and coach Shannon is like "You're on the kickoff unit get out there!" I knocked some VT blocker on his butt, made a tackle and woke up. And yes it would take like 6 VT to score that many
"His focus on game days is something I've never seen," Graham said. "When it comes time to play, Jacory Harris is a very, very focused man. There's no joking around. It might look on TV after the game when he's smiling that it was all fun and games. But during the game and preparation, he has that stone cold face on. He wants to win. That's something I didn't notice until the Florida State game. After the game I went to congratulate him, but he said 'Thank you. But we're not done yet.'
Yeah I could tell from his expression after we won that game that he was proud, but not going to be excited until he accomplishes what he set out to do in the big picture. Kind of reminds me of the Marino attitude. Very fiery guy.

Kirk all for the hype, hopefully our boys can continue to prove we are back http://i38.tinypic.com/2ai3rjb.jpg
For anyone who hasn't seen. He's pretty ripped for a small guy (weight wise) [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azEVD3ex5Mc"]YouTube - Jacory Harris | DA U | GT Postgame Conference[/ame] I like the "When was the last time you had that kind of protection" Jacory pauses "Umm....last night" Also if you want to listen to any coach interviews this link has it. I like the Beamer one, he talks a lot about Miami. Going to listen to the one about Shannon after. http://www.theacc.com/sports/m-footbl/football-teleconference.html
I may be stretching it here but I think there's a slight chance that Graig Cooper is a late first rounder. I can see it if he continues his current play and declares. He's versatile as he contributes on special teams and I think he's really developed as a runner. As I've stated a couple times here, I think he's letting his instincts take over instead of projecting where he should cut and where he will go. Before it was almost like he diagrammed everything in his head and had it preplanned but that's not the case anymore. He's got good speed, he is quick, he can make hard cuts and he's shown wiggle room. He's not a burner by any means but he's got enough speed. I think if the class is weak at running back then he has a slight shot of getting in the top thirty two. I could see a team like NE taking him.
I love his versatility and the fact that he's turning into the player we thought we got when we recruited him. I think he has the chance to be as good if not better than Gore in the pros. While he may not have the best straightline speed - he makes up for it with his quickness. He's also gotten a lot bigger since he arrived so that may have something to do with the loss in speed. I expect a huge game from him tomorrow against a defense that's giving up about 200 yards on the ground. And if you remember the Alabama game - #17 Kam Chancellor is going to be in for a long, long afternoon. He's about as good as Gibril Wilson in coverage.
People keep talking about the 2000 game where Wilford dropped the two point conversion that saved our trip to Pasadena. Remember, we were up 20-3 at the half then Coker-ball kicked in and turned what woulda have been a blowout into very nervous and anxious afternoon for me. He completely shut it down in the second half.
An expert takes a closer look at Whipple's Offense Canesport Very interesting read on Whipple's offense and how he schemes to attack opposing defenses. Seems simple but effective.
Agreed on Cooper. Kam Chancellor is difficult to watch. I've seen him get beat by tight ends that are slow and its disturbing. Before he used to be just an intimidating safety with great physcality but he's lost that as well now. He's not as physical as in the past and his hips are incredibly slow. He's a pure in the box saftey IMO.
Let VT throw the kitchen sink at Harris. Even if he struggles it only makes him a better QB in the long run. I'm confident that after a few series of whatever they are doing he can adjust for the rest of the game.
This has to be the BEST quote ever. I mean ever in the history of the universe. http://www.palmbeachpost.com/sports...BC_T25_Is_Miami_Back.html?cxntlid=inform_artr
"Orange on One Side Green on the Other Side" For you out of towners - this song is getting a lot of air play on local sports talk radio. Kinda growing on me... [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lwPv5pm-Hog"]YouTube - Orange On One Side Green On the other side- Motion Graphic Video[/ame]
confidence really high..... a small tidbit..... on 790 right now...they have Bruce Feldman from ESPN.com on (BCS expert) and he says that he is SURE that if Miami goes 4-0...that they will be ranked #1 or #2 (BCS) without a DOUBT. He says to not be surprised if they jump to #3 after beating VT. He does have a pretty good record on these BCS predictions. gonna start the predictions..... J-12 cements his status as a heismann candidate with a great performance. Canes 27 Hokies 16 Game gets tight in the third....canes open up and win with a comfortable 2 score margin. J-12: 24-34 310 Yards 2 TD's. Greg Cooper 15-105 1 TD. Turd Taylor: 3 INT's.
I see a win for Miami however think that things will unfold a little differently. I expect us to run and run alot. Cooper and Baby J will top 100 yards. Whipple will use a controlled passing game attacking the middle of the field. I think we will run on first down more than we have so far this season and use ball control to limit turnovers as well as the role special teams will play. Jacory's will go for about 250 with a TD. UM - 24 VT - 10
U fan from up North....don't post much in here but always come in and read...keep up the good work....with the U finally winning we get to see them play again in Canada
Shannon changing the felonious Culture at Miami Ok ok - we all know the culture has already been changed for many, many years. Yet the media still continues to write these articles. On the surface they piss me off but at the same time - they are always filled with great quotes from the players. I've come to grips with the fact that 10 years from now - people will be still be writing these articles. It's a decent read. NY Post
Nearly a 100% of rain chance. That means we pound the ball but they stack eight or nine in the box. Worries me a bit.
I was a bit worried, but then I really thought about it. If either passing game is more equipped to play in the rain it is ours. Not to say we will throw the ball all over the place, but if it comes down to having to make a play in the air I have no doubt we hold the advantage. I'd like to see us maybe line up with both guys in the backfield a few times and hand it to the up back. Then later from that same formation fake the run and throw a screen or a pass to the halfback in the flat.
The announcer on College Gameday was just showing Jacory and his lack of emotion and said "Is he pregnant?" We can lie and say yes so VT will feel bad hitting him.
