I think they will play the starters with some adjustments next week. Im almost sure we are going to bring a safety and a wide reciever from either waivers of free agency by then or by the start of the season. It wouldnt hurt to find a gem out there that has maybe 1-2 years left, and get some depth. The tight ends and wide recievers were killing us in the middle of the field. It would have been worse if Leftwich would have been accurate.

My favorite play of the game - Greg C snatching the ball on the quick out, keeping his feet in, and turning up the field. I was cracking up the whole time. Atta boy!

I don't know if it was the knee or just that he's naturally not that fast but any of our other WR's that would have been a touchdown.

    Great play by Camarillo though.

    Both IMO.

He is an NFL starter and a pretty good QB. There are a lot of guys starting in this league that don't have his talents.

    calphin deadly at 250 yards!!

was it just me or did Tampa hold on almost every snap. I seen our D-linemen being held time after time with no flag.

    oh well.

All I've got to say is that we'll be ready for Atlanta in week one. I'm sure of that.

    No you weren't alone.

Also on that fumble by Leftwich I believe it was JT going after ball, he had a straight line to it. The Tampa lineman reached around, grabbed his jersey, and twisted him in the other direction so he couldn't recover.

yup, and on a few of those punt and kick returns you could see their guys with hands full of jersey... I remember thinking "I'm glad the NFL said holding was going to be a point of interest this year"

Not anymore he's not. The Bucs may start him, but it's basically out of desperation. He's a backup at this point on any team with any choice in the matter.

I'm watching the replay of this game and I've seen some great defensive play in the second quarter. A CB blitz by Jones, a huge rush by Moses, two third and longs (20's) at least...

He's not any worse than he ever has been. His only horrible flaw is his long delivery, which he has shortened some and is made up for because of his incredible arm strength.

If you give him time in the pocket he WILL win you some games.

He has more flaws than that...he has a tendency to overthrow wide open receivers, as he showed in this game.
