Hey brothers and sisters I am at Honda right now getting work done on my car. I was thinking have any of you guys ever had any dealership trouble? Knock on wood I have not had any which is great. Hondas service is pretty good. So back to the qurstion have you guys ever had any bad experiences at a dealership?

    Thanks for the input,
    Steve

    Yeah,

I had a dealer problem once. He sold me this stuff that wouldn't get a fly high. I had to sell it to my nieces and nephews to make my money back.
    :pity:

    I kid, only kidding :shifty:

Hey man, 'buyer beware' as the ancient Greeks, or Roman, or Latins or whatever, said.

If its not under warranty dont take it the dealership. Parts and labor are WAY higher and you are much better off if you can take it to a smaller shop..... If you can find a good one that you feel you can trust.

Had many problems with Jeep and Dodge dealers, in a several different parts of the country (it's not tied to one area or dealership). Anything from "your vehicle is fixed" when it's not (translated: we couldn't figure it out but we still want you to pay us) to "your car that you had ordered isn't going to show up, it was cancelled - for the third time. You'll have to order this years model." (translated: we didn't negotiate a good enough deal on the last one. this one's gonna really cost you!). I even had one dealer cut my drive shaft in half with a cutting torch and then try to charge me for it, even though I had only authorized a repair estimate, not actual repairs. He said they had to cut it off to id the problem, which was a clicking noise when turning left.

Love my Toyota dealer, best I've ever dealt with. They even wash the truck before they give it back!
