Too bad Ohio St didn't make it. Butler is a beast.

 

Whoa! UL beats Tennesee by nineteen. I knew they were good and had a really good D but didn't expect this big of a win.

Hansbrough was unreal last night. Just incredible. Louisville damn near pulled that game out in the second half, as most of the UNC players were doing squat. Hansbrough put them on his back and carried them to victory. Tremendous performance.

I'm buying him more and more as a quality NBA player. Awesome work ethic, a couple good low post moves, relentless at both ends of the floor, good hands and a fairly reliable 15 to 18 foot jumper. I do think he's got to play more disciplined ball; he gets a ton of favorable calls and no-calls at the college level that he won't in the NBA. (Dick Enberg, bless his heart, called Hansbrough twice on fouls he got away with. Dick Vitale would rather swallow his own tongue than do that.) But he's hardly the first college player who will need to make that adjustment.

Edit: Oh, and he's got to dump that nickname, too. "Psycho T" is arguably the most contrived nickname I've ever heard. Being a white guy from Podunk, Missouri only adds to that assessment.

 

The over the back was the only one I heard. What was the other?

 

He said it one other time. Can't recall off the top of my head, but he did.

BTW, is Kansas TRYING to blow it? Unreal.

Edit: Well, they pulled it out. Nice D on that last shot. I thought for sure Curry would try to draw a foul there when the defender went up in the air.

Here's the thing: Cinderella stories are nice, but when we get to the Final Four, I want the big kids to take over. When Cinderella dances her way to the Final Four, she almost always gets smacked right in her pretty little jaw.

I agree. Especially after he got that defender in the air. How hard would it have been to pull a Dwyane Wade, jump right into him, flip the ball aimlessly and draw three free throws?

When Curry got the guy in the air he should have jumped into him. Or when Curry gave it to his teammate who shot the last shot should have passed it to the guy on the low block.

 

i may have misunderstood you but there wasnt enough time for richards to pass it...

i love curry so much, i heard he is staying one more year to learn the point since richards is leaving, if he can play point guard he will be more successful, than trying to play the 2 in the NBA...

 

Yeah when he shot there was 1.8. If he would have thrown a bullet you have to figure .3 which leaves enough time to lay it in.

 

So much for people laughing at me for having 3 #1's in the Final Four (only Texas missed out, which I guess is still nice since it'll turn the San Antonio crowd against Memphis).

 

I wouldn't have laughed at you: I had all four in one of my three brackets. And if UCLA and Kansas play in the final, I'll win $250...irrespective of who wins!

In fact, I had Kansas beating UCLA in the finals of another bracket. So, if Kansas beats UCLA, I'll win $418.

 

I win the office pool if Memphis and Kansas advance and Kansas wins!

 

I'm needing KU and UCLA to win tonight ... Either way I expect the games to be fantastic tonight.

 

Well at all of you who doubted Memphis!

 

You can't hate on Memphis. They've got a shot at 39 wins in a season, which is just ridiculous. They match up quite well against the Jayhawks, particularly in the backcourt.

 

If you aren't watching the National Championship, you should be. The last 8 minutes have been nothing but big play after big play. Great game ...
