done one less decision to make it was a good thing suppose that means Martin is on schedule to return from his injury
Hope your not trying to say this is why he failed here? Come on he has been given plenty of opportunities and hes failed each time. At least the front office said enough and moved on. Made a mistake and fixed it. We need that spot for others.
i dont see how you can possibly see what you did with my post.......maybe with the original post i quoted.....??
It looks like we may have the elusive T-Lex on our team afterall. If he had a second gear he could have caught it.
Thought he outplayed Nalbone. Hopefully Nalbone comes around. This gives wilford a chance to sign on quickly with someone else
Wilford can catch, so if he got cut it was his blocking or more likely his lack of effort when blocking. Just my guess.
As I said in another thread on this, I have to give Jeff and Tony credit on this one. Sure, they messed up by signing him originally, but I'm surprised they cut him because of the cap hit of $4.5m....Shows they are willing to continue to do what it takes to improve the talent on the team. Not all regimes/personnel guys/owners would do this... It also shows some class in giving Wilford time to catch on elsewhere...Either way, the writing was on the wall unless he really wowed them at TE that he was going to be on the outside looking in...
Let me help Sick for all of those not in the know. This is sarcasm. In case you couldn't tell, so is my post.
Can't wait to hear Wilford's sour grapes moment next time he gets interviewed. Holliday had one. Eric Green had one.
Thank God. He was nothing but dead weight on this team. We never should have brought him in to begin with.
I look at it this way he would have been buried on the depth chart as a TE and his impact would have been minmal at best because as he wasn't a true TE the blocking and overall play at that position would have made it hard to beat the rookie for playing time. I hope he lands on his feet, didn't work in Miami and I'm glad they are clearing the dead weight off the roster fast and being decisive.
Eh I played WR and its not easy to jump for those kind of balls. You honestly cant. You're running full speed looking over your shoulder, it would be pretty hard to leave your feet for that ball unless you're diving forwards.
You are right Alex. I watched that play over and over again. The ball was overthrown, however he didnt dive either. It really made him look as tho he didn't really care. Maybe he saw the writing on the wall. Personally I would of dived even if I knew I was about to get cut. I would show my next team I'm willing to try.
Peace out Wilford... Thanks for 3 catches for 25 yards last year, and a TD catch this preseason! Hope you enjoy all that cash we gave you for NOTHING...
