Will Allen is a f'en man:

Will Allen's Stats did drop off between 07 and 08, but notice what he was playing through, MCL tear, Turf Toe, had his hip drained from a deep bruise, and he still played at a high level, he will be even better this season.

Will Allen will return to his 07 form simply due to better health.

Which one...the MCL...the turf toe...the groin...the deep bruise that had to be drained..?

I knew that he had a knee issue, but he had a ton of things wrong with him and he played really well even that jacked up.

Holy crap. Its not like he had a little boo boo on his finger or something. Those are all very painful things going on.

How many WR's have sat the season just by Turf-toe alone?

We knew about the groin down the stretch, and you could see the difference.

But to learn about everything else....I mean, turf toe effectively ended Deion Sanders' career the first time around. Sprained MCL? He earned that extension.

    My favorite quote though...

Dam. I'm not surprised to hear about the knee, Boom was told by his sources that he had messed it up.... The rest is surprising though, no wonder they extended him.

The real question is how soon will Florio start harping on the Fins about their injury reporting...I don't recall him being on the injury list at all ??

Still, shows his toughness and probably why he got his contract extended...

Allen has slowly moved into one of my favorite players on the dolphins. by the end of last year, he was one of my top 5 favorites. this is from a guy that was not a fan of the signing and thought he wasnt going to be very good...

hes tough, hes a good guy, good team mate, and he gives 100% all the time. not to mention hes a pretty damn good cover corner as well. just like marty said, Player. hes a player, plain and simple.

He has what our staff calls "the makeup", Green didn't, and neither did any of the other guys who quit during TC. This team is NOT for the feint of heart. And I really LOVE that!

He is now a true miami dolphin in my eyes, some we draft, some we sign, the ones we sign must show their valor for our team before i call them true...He Has.

We basicaly swapped Sam Madison for Will Allen. I'm not going to lie, as a young kid back then, I hated losing Madison for Will Allen. Now, Will Allen is one of my favorite Dolphins.

I agree with the above posters about the fact that he has the "make-up" of what this front office is looking for. I'm still loving the fact that he has taken it upon himself to take Sean Smith and Vontae Davis under his wing, and do everything he can to help them improve. You just can't have too many guys like this on your roster!

we may have a bright CB duo in VD and Smith, but I do like Allen a lot.

I hope he can play at a good level for us at least 2 more seasons. He's one of those guys that you can say that deserves what he has conquered.
