On ESPN insider Scouts Inc rated like 2500 players. I won't post the scouting reports but I will post each player's ratings. Before you get mad at the ratings make sure you look at the Grading Scale that they use. GRADING SCALE: 100-90 Elite Player 89-80 Outstanding Player 79-75 Solid Starter 74-70 Good Starter 69-65 Adequate Starter 64-60 Good Backup 59-55 Adequate Backup 54-50 Marginal Backup 49-45 Below Average Backup Player/Core Special Teams Player 20 Developmental Player
Patrick Cobbs is way to low. IMO, if he isn't a good backup I don't know what is. EDIT: And LOL at Pennington not being a rated a solid starter.
Sorry, but that scale is absolute BUNK. If simplify it and just rank the Phins roster top to bottom, it wouldn't look anything like that what-so-ever. Seriously? Jason Allen should be well behind the next 15 or so listed after him. No credibility at all IMO
What's the difference between a good starter and a solid starter? They seem like the same term to me.
Chad Pennington is only a good starter? What does somebody have to do to be considered a solid starter? Win 12 games? Throw for 4,000 yards?
Joey Porter was graded based on his age and not his performance. He had 18.5 sacks last year and was on the shortlist for NFL Defensive player of the year. Very poor to call him a good starter.
Al Johnson is on the list as a 20 (developmental player). a. He is not on our team b. He has already been cut from another team since leaving Miami (New England) c. He is not a developmental player
Dont payattention to these people I think all of our players are better then they have it posted there
As if we needed more. The other day I happened to stop on Sportscenter to see Ashton Kutcher being interviewed about the Chicago Bears.
Jason Taylor is an adequate starter.... OK. And at least half of the team are developmental players. They have all of four players that rate even as well as 'solid starter'. Wow. I don't need to look at this any further.
