been a rough weekend. Was in Augusta for my grandfathers "unveiling", who died 1 year ago, and instead ended up going to my grandmothers funeral who died Friday night...and we found out saturday morning.

So right now football is more of a release than ever...even if it is a preseason game! I can't wait to watch the game tonight...see our 1st team vs their 1st team and just how we measure up right now. Also looking forward to seeing the rookies get after it and what these WR's actually have in an actual game.

Here is to a better day and our Phins coming away with a win tonight...and that we could away healthy.

Thanks...she was 98 and had a full life. I wish everyone could be so lucky. She saw all her grandchildren get married...she danced at our weddings...she got to know, love, and build relationships with all her great grand children who are 5 years old and younger (8 of them). She had more energy than all of us combined and you would have never known that she was 98. Hard to say at 98 that we didn't see this coming...but we didn't. We all thought she would live well past 100. Her heart just had a different agenda. After 74 years married together...her heart wanted to be back with Papa.

    Now onto football! :)

SOrry to hear about your loss Canephin. Thoughts and prayers to you and your family, never easy losing a grandparent.

And of course we share your sentiments of the upcoming season. I'm confident our 2009 phins will make us proud.

Sorry for your loss.....my grammie passed away in 2004 at the age of 92. One of the nicest persons I have ever known. It's nice having some football to watch even if it is preseason.
