I would have to say last year I went to go see my first Miami Dolphins game ever live it was the season opener and in Washington. I got to see all my favorite player and even though we lost I still think it is my best moment

Won't say it's my best, but I went to the Dolphins game here in San Diego, when they played the Credit Cards. It was the year we knocked them out of the playoff hunt, 2005 season I believe. When Chambers torched them for two TDs and 121 yards. Charger fans were killing me with their insults, but I got the last laugh. Had on my #84 jersey too.

When we played the Vikes last year. There was a room full of Viking fans and then me. JT had an amazing game and I got a case of beer out of the deal.

Going through the process of renting a car down in Florida with TexasPhinsfan (Rob) and Blade was one of the best, especially since we had all just met.

Anything involving C2C is my favorite/best probably.

I've got a lot of great Dolphins memories, but if I could pick one it would have to be the first time I saw Miami finally win a game at Ralph Wilson stadium. My dad had been taking me up to see the Buffalo v. Miami games for years, and Miami always seemed to lose. Finally one year, forget exactly what year it was, Miami was winning 14-7. Jim Kelly started driving them down the field for the tying score, when Terrell Buckley comes out of nowhere to pick off his pass and take it the distance the other way. I stood on my seat hands raised in the air like Rocky as Bills fans from every angle started raining down objects on me. I probably got hit with at least 3 beers, nachos, and a container of BBQ sauce, but it was worth it!

You sure you don't mean Louis Oliver's pick in the end zone in 1992. He ran it all the way back for a 102 yard TD and we won that game 37-10 in Buffalo.

    Dec 21, 2004.

Hanging out at my dad's house watching the Patriots-Dolphins game. My dad is a lifelong Patriots fan (believe it or not...) and he was talking crap with the Patriots up by 11 with just under 4 minutes to play.

We all know what happened then... 29-28 Dolphins... :wink2:

I had never seen him so pissed off about a football game ever untill that point. Three weeks later he presented me with a Zach Thomas jersey...

Positive. Sadly I think that game happened just before my dad started bringing me up to the Ralph for the games. This game happened in 1996 -

If we're not talking about a game, I was at the stadium for my first time (I think it was the first time) and I was down near where the players drive in. I just had a random hat on and someone had a Vikings helmet. Cris Carter drives up and stops his car and gets out and signs the helmet and then just start signing autographs. I gave him the hat and he signed it. I know he wasn't a part of the team long, but it was pretty cool that he stopped.

    One of my favorite moments:

The year was 2001, bitter from an early playoff exit the year before, I was hoping this was going to be the year. Lamar Smith was the secret ingredient we so desperately needed and I still hoped Wanny would become the coach Jimmy said he would.

I'm watching the Raiders - Dolphins game in my 11th Floor appartment with my best friend and brother in law we are both die hard fans. I lived in this appartment for about 2 years and it was mostly old retired people but what the heck it was rent controlled and cheap for such a luxurious appartment. We are watching the game and complaining about how Fiedler should've been nothing more then a career backup and asking ourselves why we didn't get Green. Dolphins are down late in the 4th quarter and we are expecting Fiedler to sail a pass over the head of one of the receivers and be intercepted to end the game... but he marches the dolphins all the way down the field with a few seconds left on the clock. We are standing on the edge of our seats and praying he isn't going to throw the Ball to James McDrop or let Lamar run up the middle for no gain. We see Fiedler at the Raiders 2 yard line, start to drop back but wait he tucks the ball in and runs it up the right side for a TD at 14:55 on the clock.

We start cheering as we have rarely cheered, I don't know if its the fact we played the Raiders the 2nd team we both hated the most after the Jets. The fact we actually believe Fiedler might turn things around and start becoming the QB they promised us he would become or just the fact it was a nice warm day and we had 1 too many drinks.

15 minutes later we get a knock at the door and 2 cops show up as they've had complaints of noise and possible domestic violence coming from our appartment. They ask me to take them around the appartment and as we are doing this I explain to them what had just happen they actually start laughing their heads off and take us out to the balcony to show us that a crowd was starring at our appartment and pointing fingers. Just then our 2 Fiance's and their mother arrive as the cops are yelling to the crowd that it's all OK, it was just a football game....

To this day I'm still mad... Just a Football game!!!!!!!!!! MIAMI 18 RAIDERS 15 WOOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is when I think both my brother in law and me realised we aren't fans but Miami Dolphins Fanatics.

I have to say I have two that are special to me.

The first one is watching Dolphin games together with my Dad between 1966 and 1972 when my Dad passed away. He really loved the Dolphins and watched them every time they were on TV. We lived in West Palm Beach during that time. Man those years were special and memorable.

The second one was in the late sixties when I went to the Orange Bowl with my two best childhood friends and saw the Dolphins play the Bears. I just happened to be watching with binoculars when I saw Dick Butkis shove a Dolphins running back after the play was over. I was still watching as I saw Larry Little step beween the two players. Something was said and the next thing I knew Little punched Butkis somewhere around his facemask. Butkis helmet flew about 10 feet in the air and the facemask was broken. Dolphin fans were going crazy in the stands cheering.

Going to the Playoff game against the Colts back in 2000 would be my pick right now, although I have many to choose from.

    What a day!

Me and my cousin lost our voices but it was worth it.

Lamar Smith was a wild man that day.

I have more than a few. Spending my Bday with inFINSible and Ozzy watching training camp live, followed by Hooters and then a strip club.

The 2004 Draft part at Shulas Sports Bar when Ronnie was drafted. I'm still hung over. The entire original crew from Finheaven was there including AJ. very cool.

I LOVE Larry... Thanksgiving, we were playing the st. louie cardinals, beating them 147 to zip and Conrad Dobler was talking trash. He cheap shotted AJ Duhe and put him out with a bad knee. Couple of plays later, Dobler was near our sidelines talking crap and Larry stepped onto the field and punched him in the facemask..... knocked him OUT..

    Ok, here it is...

Jets playoff game at the OB, (1977) I think. I'm sitting in a row with a circuit court judge, his wife, my wife and I (we were all season tic holders of those seats). Behind us is a party of Jet fans...all screaming and yelling and being rather rude to any Fins fans. The judge's wife, a very sophisticated woman who rarely attended games was quietly sitting there and listening to the commotion going on behind us. There was this one woman in the party who had a high squeaky, and rather annoying voice who was yelling at the top of her lungs for the entire game "J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets" The were drunk, which was fine...that part didn't bother anyone and they were getting and taking jabs the entire game, but that one lady was very annoying...she was directly behind the judges wife, who was getting more and more perturbed. I went for a beer run for Jack and I and my wife and the judges wife a sno-cone...

About 5 minutes went by and that squeaky voiced woman yelling in our ears again. Keep in mind, we were dominating them the whole game (it was the mud bowl game or the AJ Duhe game for reference). When AJ blocked and intercepted that pass and took it into the end zone, of course we all jumped up and cheered and yelled...as we all stood up, the judges wife, who had had enough of this Jet fan yelling in her ear, without looking back, dumped that sno-cone into the lady's face. Every Fin fan in the whole section was laughing and jumping around because of that play, of the judges wife that is....I still can see that woman's face and she shut up the rest of the game to boot....

Here's one that I like to tell:

Me and my brother flew over to London for the Giants game last year. He isn't a Dolphins fan (he's a Steeler - don't ask how that happened; I still suspect my parents found him in the woods) but he had agreed to come along and he can tolerate massive amounts of ale so I didn't complain. Besides, I had that rudimentary plan of losing him in an English forest and finding myself a brother who knows about football. But I'm digressing. Anyway, when we arrived at the stadium it was pouring cats and dogs and my Jason Taylor jersey was soaking and I was way too sober to witness the inevitable slaughter and generally not in the best of moods. Then I saw the line in front of our turnstill and my mood instantly went from bad to worse. To say that it was long would be like saying that the helmsman of the Titanic made a wee mistake. If someone attempted to get through - to, like, get to his turnstill - it looked like Moses parting the Red Sea. So we got in line because there was no booze vendor and were instantly followed by a couple of guys chattering in what sounded like a scuba diver throwing up inside his mask. Finnish, I figured. Maybe Danish. Who cares, right?

Except: These guys weren't just chattering. Oh no. If you think a Boing 747 was loud during takeoff, you have obviously never witnessed a horde of wasted Finns. They were an obnoxious, intolerable pain in the butt. They weren't just loud; they were rude to anyone stupid enough to get near them, making obscene gestures, calling them names (at least that's what I figure it was; maybe they were reciting Shakespeare in Finnish, who knows), going as far as nearly picking up a fight with some poor fellow who happened to pass by on his way to the restrooms.

My brother and me were doing what any sensible coward would do in a situation like this: we were keeping our heads down and waiting for the line to get smaller. Which, after a geological epoch, it did. Finally we were in, heading for our seats and settling in. I got me a beer for kickoff and was looking forward to seeing the Dolphins live for the first time in my life. Guess who comes along chattering gibberish to take up the seats right behind us?

    Ex-actly.

The next hour was an ordeal. They would comment each and every statement of the announcer in the following way:

    "SuomestaitävaltalainenLiisalle first down."
    "Maanantainaaamullahuoneessa holding."
    "HyväähuomentaNukuhyvin penalty."

And they weren't just commenting it. They were screaming their loungs out. It was positively impossible to concentrate on the game or have a conversation because these guys wouldn't stop chattering even for a second. By the third quarter, they were hopelessly drunk, starting to spill their beer on the miserable people sitting next to them (or, in our case, in front of them). By the end of the third quarter, a guy with a small boy wearing a Zach Thomas jersey got up and left the stadium. I turned around to see whether they'd even noticed that people were leaving because of them, and one guy gave me a huge smile and told me to go <insert profanity here> myself.

At the beginning of the fourth quarter, my brother got up, muttered "that's it" and left me sitting there. Great, I thought. Now I have to suffer another 15 minutes all by myself. I was just about ready to follow him, vowing never to spend a couple of hundred bucks on such a wasted trip again, when he came back, followed by about a zillion security guys looking like somebody told them that their mothers stink and engage in bizarre sexual practices involving beetroot.

It was over in what felt like three seconds. The Finns screamed, were handcuffed and gone. My brother took his seat, looking very pleased with himself.

"What did you tell them?", I asked.

"I told them they were sexually harrassing my little brother. I must have failed to mention that my brother is 28 years old."

I guess my parents could have done worse in that wood.

That was the good old days when we had players with an attitude. I will never forget him punching Ditka in the face mask. Helmet went about ten feet in the air and it broke the face mask. Wish we had a Larry Little type on the Dolphins now.

I hope nobody minds mine, it hasn't happened yet. It WILL BE the Fins winning the SB in 2011. Can't wait. Actually up until then it WILL BE the Fins getting into the playoffs in 2009 for the first time in what, 6 or 7 years?

    True Story:
I was at Invesco Field at Mile High when the Phins came into town a few years ago. The Phins played a great game, but it looked like Jason Elam won the game for Denver on a late field goal. But then the Phins came down the field and Olindo Mare hit a long field goal to win the game. I was so happy....I was screaming and running all around outside of Invesco Field. Some guy in a truck said, "Your Dolphins suck." I said, "Your mama sucks." The guy chased me with his truck for about two hundred yards before I ran down some alley and got away. Good memories!!!!!!!!
