Uh...you think so Einstein? That's it, keep using your teams valuable time preparing for it. ;)

What are they going to prepare for?

It will be a totally different beast with P. White taking snaps.

Granted, we have a few staple plays, but seriously, they don't know the half of it. The Miami players don't even at this point.

Pffft, f Ryan and the high horse he rode in on. Can't wait to play them.

Cant wait to see them try to use the wildcat and fail big time at it, just like Buffalo did.

Also thanks for tipping your hand dumbass.

Exactly. They will waste time preparing for something which they have yet to see. In doing so, they will neglect the other aspects of their game which they should be working on. Win win for us! ;)

Yeah, because Leon Washington is a scarier threat than Ronnie Brown.

Unlike Mangini, Rex is using Leon back there, instead of Brad Smith.

Rex already shut down the Wildcat, like he cares.

Bring on Pat Hype. Bart Scott will enjoy smacking his thin frame in the mouth.

you keep saying that like it was magic or something.. YOU don't have the personell it takes to do what the ravens did.. plus, we drafted to defeat what THEY did. There was no secret scheme, it was better talent than we had, something YOU do not have.

    We don't have the personal?

Keep believing that. Love being viewed as an underdog. Its a lot of fun.

2 of those 11 Ravens are now with us.

And actually, yes it was a scheme that nobody else really imployed and our Defense is going to be just as good as Baltimores. Haloti Ngata, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs and Ed Reed, woohoo.

Say hello to Bart Scott, Calvin Pace, David Harris, Kerry Rhodes, Darrelle Revis and Kris Jenkins.

The best defense in the AFC East belongs to the Jets.

But keep doubting, you'll see in time. We're only a few months away.

a mediocre safety and a LB who's a product of a team around him do not make a defense.

also did you just compare the Ravens D to the Jets D? GTFO.

I always laugh when I see a LB whose a product of those around him. What a joke comment. Thats hopeful, I guess if you're a rival fan.

The Jets D will be up there with the Ravens D, for sure. We'll see how the Ravens do without Ryan there and Lewis another year older.

The Ravens D has more to do with the talent of the players then the scheme.

    RILB: Tavares Gooden
    ROLB: Terrell Suggs - *

    LCB: Samari Rolle
    RCB: Dominque Foxworth
    SS: Dwan Landry
    FS: Ed Reed - *

    2009 New York Defense
    LDE: Shaun Ellis - *
    NT: Kris Jenkins - *
    RDE: Marques Douglas

    LOLB: Bryan Thomas/Vernon Gholston - *
    LILB: Bart Scott - *

    ROLB: Calvin Pace

    LCB: Darrelle Revis - *
    RCB: Lito Sheppard - *
    SS: Jim Leonhard
    FS: Kerry Rhodes

Yes, I will contiue to say I'd rather Scott than the soon to be 35 year old Ray Lewis.

I can't decide with Leonard and Landry, either way the Jets look to be a in a tad better shape. Yes the Ravens have Ngata, Reed and Suggs, but after that, the Jets are even or better at every single position. The sad thing is Pace put up 7 sacks last year in Mangini's scheme, jeez, under Ryan it should be at least 12.

Actually, Channing Crowder opened his big mouth first and started this crap. I'm glad that our coach just doesn't sit there and roll his eyes and actually opens his mouth and shows some fire. But he didn't start it, Crowder did by opening his mouth first when Ryan was talking about Belichick and the Patriots, after being asked soley about them by a radio host in the NY/NJ area.

Channing just felt he should speak. Ryan responded.

    Nothing wrong with that.

The sad thing is that the Jets overpayed for a good LB whose afraid to be a leader and who whined about the wildcat and who could have taken a few million less to be on a better team.(which goes back to the " I dont wanna be a leader, cause I'm a *****") Also from now on we should just call him Jake Long's *****.

Channing was asked about Ryan's comments and responded in his usual way, Channing verbally *****slapped Ryan and fatass looked foolish.

How would Scott be Jake Long's *****? And Bart Scott is afraid to be a leader? How so? Ray Lewis is the leader in Baltimore, nobody can challenge that. Should we call Suggs and Reed little *****es too? I guess we should. Scott came to New York to be a LEADER.

Channing verbally *****slapped? Yeah.. riiiight. Rex won that war of the words. Channing is just a street dog bully with dreads. He brings barely anything to the table. Do you think teams game plan for him? Hardly.

so what.. Channing is a player.. what he said shouldn't worry an nfl coach, your "head coach" engaged in smack with a rival player.. how professional

tell me, how many nfl head coaches do that. dang, the last it time happened might have been Buddy..., no wait, he was punching a coach, not jawing with a player, my bad.

and I'm glad he did too.. I get to laugh at what he's sayin', it IS funny, and laugh AT him because wellll, he's funny.

you need to be sacrificing sammiches to the football gods that rex is a winner.. this is going to hurt real bad if it doesn't work.

    your turn :)

They should be practicing it. Remember when they ran it in the finale last season? It was terrible and terribly slow.

Rex Ryan has never stopped the Wildcat with Pat White at the helm. Plus the Ravens were good at stopping pretty much everybody's running formations. Having a strong, fast, disciplined defense will do that for you.

Lewis was put into the position to run to the line more than Scott. Scott was used more dropping back and not running towards the back as much as Lewis.

Man you guys need to listen to Rex Ryan more often.

The Jets will have a defense mirroring, or close to mirroring that defense. 3 of our starters come from that Defense, as long as their LB coach and DC. I am fairly confident our D will be up there in the conversation with Baltimore and Pittsburgh. We will be a Top 5 defense for a long time.

But hey, bring on Pat White. I'm more than confident that our starting corners will keep the Miami WR's on lockdown.

Like I said in the CLevel, I'm bowing out of these threads now because I no I can't win defending the Jets on a Miami board and it just isn't worth it anymore.

We have to wait to September.

In fact the Dolphins have been the one team Super Brady and the Patriots have had problems beating since their run. With JT back, you can expect it to happen again.

and the Jets wil fail epically at the WC

    He should.
Because comparing the defense that you guys have in NY and what he had in Baltimore is night and day.

So you mock Pat "hype" while brining up Scott? That man has more hype than Pat. 3d best LB on Ravens, playing out from Ray Ray's ***. Lets see him make some plays on his own.

Like I said, a 3d best LB, playing behind arguably best MLB in the game?
    And a back up safety?

On paper, yes you guys do have the best D, with the fact that Rex is there.
But don't forget, the Ravens D played together for a long time, while these guys have to learn a new D from scratch.
And its not always about having the most talented players at their individuals positions (Redskins, Cowboys) Its about having the players that are right, the players that complete each other.
Let's not forget, you guys had the division wraped up on paper, also. We all know what happened.

We ain't "doubting" these are legit questions.
The way you describe rex comes in POOF, your D will stop the cat because they did in Baltimore?
Don't forget that we have a real offensive line that has more than just Jake on it. You emphasize that they stopped the cat, but they stopped the whole offense, because we had back-ups playning all around. Jake and and Vernon are the only guys from that time of the year will be on our line. So you can bring on Bart Hype, Jake will bury him.
