That is the complete list above if you want to take a look at it. Like every other list this time of the year, I take it with a grain of salt. We don't have the 29th passing game in the league. Last year, we were a top ten passing team and I think we have gotten eve better in the off-season with all the additions we have made. I've read some of that guy's other stuff lately and his articles are on par with Nando and Omar which is not saying much at all.

We did just fine without one last year. The offense is all about spreading the ball around and not depending on one guy.

Ted Ginn didn't have a breakout year last year and the passing offense was a legitimate threat. That passing offense ranked 10th in passing yards, 16th in passing TDs, and 8th in net yards per pass attempt. What about those numbers says illegitimate or non-threat? Nothing. And to suggest Ginn "has to" have a breakout year in order for our passing offense to be "any threat" is ridiculous when we have proven otherwise. In fact, we were better than every team in the division in passing yards and net yards per pass attempt.

I'll predict we will have the 2nd best passing offense and overall offense in the division. We can protect the QB, which could be a question mark for the Bills. And our QB can make good decisions a vast majority of the time and limit turnovers. Trent Edwards is ok but something is missing. And you can't say that about Mark Sanchez because he hasn't taken a snap in the league.

29th, that's pretty harsh. I think we're at least in the mid teens.

Problem is, the Andre Johnson's and Larry Fitzgerald's of the world don't grow on trees. I don't see an issue with our wide receiving corp but to each their own.

    Colorado Dolfan ...dirty drownin' man?

That's what everyone here seems to be missing... ...and it's true. We don't have any players in our passing game that are likely to be big scorers for Fantasy Football players. Pennington is going to pass the ball around just like last year. No "go to" guys that will get huge yards and tons of scores.

Take the ranking with a grain of salt and realize it is for FF purposes.

Since the Dolphins aren't playing in a Fantasy Football League, and neither do I, I don't think I really care.

    Thank you Rock..

Everyone predicted a last place finish for us last year, and everyone is predicting a massive drop this year.. Let them predict whatever they want- Sparano and Parcells are too busy figuring out how we are going to succeed this year.

In my heart I see us in the 2nd round of the playoffs this season... With the AFC Championship a distinct possibility.

They are primarily focused on gaudy numbers for fantasy. I don't think their off on their rankings for the most part.

But i also think our FO has gone the non traditional route with regards to the wideouts/TE's. We have a number of different guys. Together they can put up numbers and more importantly points and wins. But it won't be primarily from one guy. But who cares, all that means is Calvin Johnson will have a ton of numbers and no wins. And wins are what matters in the NFL.

But to be honest, in fantasy football (for those who do play), if i have a choice between Calvin Johnson or Ted Ginn I would honestly take Megatron. But if i had to bet in vegas who will have more wins this year, us or detroit, i'm laying my money down on the phins. Consider it a lock.

Did anybody actually read the article? This wasn't ranking our passing game. It was ranking WR/TE packages for fantasy purposes. The truth is the Dolphins spread the ball around and run more than most teams so we don't have highly ranked fantasy players at WR and TE. I don't see this as some insult or even as inaccurate.

u thought they were bad..really, our team won a division title with the youngest group of wide receivers in the league, I thought they did really good..they lost their leader middway and still closed the deal. They showed toughness and good hands baby.

anyway, i look forward to their progression as a group in this complex scheme we are unveiling to the rest of the league. the growing pains they went thru last year should pay serious dividends for this year and the future. add our new rooks to the fold and we got ourselves a core of young, talented, tough, true miami dolphins. born and raised .

That's true. Miami's WRs are a nightmare for fantasy purposes, because it's somebody new every week. It was the same way with New England's WRs when they won their superbowls.

That's a good point about NE. If Fox had ranked NE's WR/TE package for fantasy purposes at #29 that year they probably would have been dead on. But that accurate ranking had little to no correlation with the success of the Patriot's passing game that season, or the team's success.

I could care less if they ranked us so bad we couldn't play in the CFL. They only have opinions like you and I do. So why would you, or anyone, give it more merit than your own?

    Who cares what "they" think?
Ok, hows this. When was the last time their opinions were correct? Yeah, I can't remember either.

Opinions are like buttholes, everyones got one and they all stink.

I don't think Chad Pennington has to throw for 450 yards and 4 TD's, like Drew Brees, in order to win games. Chad is focused on making good accurate throws, and not turning the ball over. It may not give the Phins the sexy stats, but many QB's who have had 400 and 500 yard games are often on the losing end of games and are forced to throw the ball every play. Ginn, Camarillo and Bess probably won't be in anyone's top 50 wide receivers, but fantasy stats don't have much to do with winning or losing in the NFL. Look at Big Ben....his fantasy stats numbers are not that great, but the Steelers have the offense and defense to win the Superbowl.
