http://www.profootballtalk.com/category/rumor-mill/ Amazing how far this guy fell. As a kicker (and a former elite one at that), he should have been able to play several more years.
He's still making way to much,Muck. Yes,he fell off the mountain and kept tumbling down.Quite the shame.
He deserved it then imo, he was a very good kicker but somehow has a drastic drop off in skill. Reminds me of Vandershank.
said it in the General NFL thread... and i'll say it here too... Olindo made a pretty good choice, its cold, rainy, and windy in seattle. He'll have plenty of things to blame his missed kicks on!
The year he started falling off he had toe problems big time, which wasn't much publicized, and it looks like he's never going to recover from that. Too bad, I liked him, quiet, go to work and do your job kind of guy.
Mare, quite? Anything but IMO. He seemed quiet when he was nailing kicks. When he started missing we saw the true whiny deferring blame Mare/
I guess Seattle thinks they can get consistantly within 25 yrds of the goal post when making f-g attempts. Because any further away Mare sucks! Marino1983
Kickers are like golfers sometimes you just loose it. At one time Ian Baker-Finch was one of the best golfers in the world, then all of a sudden he could barely break 90. He never got it back. Reminds me of Mare.
