Pre-Camp Power Rankings Insult Our Miami Dolphins

OK, all of you are missing the simple reasons why the media put us where they did. I may not agree with them, but here are the simple reasons:

1. NE finished in a tie with MIA for the Division Title at 11-5 with a back-up QB. If it weren't for the tie breaker, well...
2. Nov 23, 2008: NE 48 @ MIA 28. Yes, we wildcatted them well in the first game of the season and I took EXTREME pleasure when we whooped them earlier in the year. However, we weren't able to repeat that performance late in the year and the media looks at our early win as more of a fluke than long-term success.
3. Buffalo? Yes, we beat them twice last year, but the media loves a TO story and their love for the stories around TO lead them to rank them higher than they should be. "TO will be Buffalo's saviour! Watch them fall!"
4. The Jets...what can I say. New coach, rookie QB, defensive minded-coach in a high population area.

Bottom line: Let the media underrate us again. I like being the underdog and knocking off the supposed big boys.

 

Remember last year Dallas was a Superbowl pick because of T.O. also. Let's just continue to build the team the right way. From the ground up and for the long reign.
