Not that impressive of a video, wastes some steps comin off his breaks. we gonna find out what kinda player we got real soon.
Yep , didn't blow me away ether. But here's what Brandon London had to say about Sean Smith today """really didn't go up against each other that much. That kids gnna be a beast....remember i said it first!""" Via his twitter page. It's good to hear that but i've seen way to many times players talking up new guys on the team then camp starts and the vet's stop talking about them,I hope the talk picks up when camp starts, not just with him but all the rooks.
- He looks smooth, comfortable and decisive breaking on (and reading) deep balls - What you don't see here is how good he looked jamming receivers with his hands in mini-camp. He re-routes receivers well off press coverage and that'll help immensely. - His hands were so-so, not as great as I'd heard with all the 'former wide receiver' talk. Perhaps, however, he was just pressing and nervous because it was his Pro Day. If so, I hope he's not nervous in the clutch. He seemed fine in his bowl game. - I see what you mean about the wasted foot movement. Not sure how big an issue it'll be once the physical element (contact) gets added. He may draw a few flags if he doesn;t turn clean enough and a Moss is blowiong by him (I could see Smith sticking out an arm to impede him and drawing a PI). Nothing mavor to worry about, I don't think. - Seeing this convinces me even more that Smith is better suited to starting outside while Vontae would be a great slotback intially. Vontae plays well heading forwards, Smith seems to track deep very well. Also, Vontae tends to bite more on double moves because he is VERY aggressive coming UP to make the hit or break up a short pass. That's ideal for a slot CB but will cost you a TD on double-moves if you're an outside guy. Vontae has more suddenesss when he cloese too, which makes me think short-area slot CB.
Thought I'd dig around for some more vids of Sean.... So I went to Freddie Hott's channel and there were a couple other vids of Sean (like Sean trying to kick a field goal goofing around with other Utes on an offday at some event)... and also, lots and lots of ho's and booty and clubs and such. Yay... glad Sean is keeping good company. For example, here is his pal Freddie Hott: [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AcDUeHvdWUo&feature=channel_page"]YouTube - Behind the Scene footage of FREDDIE HOTT SAUCE's YA DIG video shoot[/ame] -sigh- I like ya Sean, but why can;t everyone be like Zach Thomas? Boring, and stay at home to study film? lol. No need to hang out with 'hustlas', as Freddie calls himself.

Personally I don't know how anyone could watch that pro day video and not come away thoroughly impressed.
