There are some records a player wants to be remembered for breaking, chances are good, this is not one of those..

Hmm...perhaps his hip was fractured by lawyers reaching for his wallet?

Too many women bouncing on him I think may be the reason.

Seriously, how do you get seven kids in five damn states? Does he go hunting on every road trip?

This is barely short of criminal in my book.

I honestly hope this idiot never gets to enjpy the finer things in life and instead ends up working just to pay child support

    What a freakin absolute LOSER

This situation seldomly turns out very well for those involved, Darryl Strawberry went to jail for non payment and Barry Bonds famously went to court to have his support payments reduced during the baseball strike.

Yeah? Screw both Strawberry and Bonds. They both live illustrious lifestyles, meanwhile illegitimate kids grow up without a Father :pity:

This situation is the bastard child of arrogance and stupidity. This will be another bankrupt ex-NFL player within months after retirement because as soon as that NFL contract dries up so does the money and he'll be bleeding it faster than pouring water through a colander.

    Just turned 25.

Certainly reads as if he's the picture of irresponsibility.

To be even more cynical, you wonder if all of them are actually his kids. Wouldn't be the first time a woman claimed the baby was a rich athlete's when it wasn't.

Is he disputing any of them?

i dont have a problem with this. each of his kids will be blessed with superior genes and will have a great chance at replicating his success. i wish i had the gene for making one handed interceptions.

The sheer volume of current child support alone might eat his salary up already.

Right now he's on the hook for seven kids over 22 or so years (overlap and such). He'd better become a rich, rich man.....and manage his money wisely.

Ask Walter Payton's son, Jarrett Payton, how that worked out.

Definitely. He's going to have to step his game up big time because if he keeps on getting burned like he did last year, he's not gonna get that huge pay check.

If he's an idiot. Hopefully he won't be an idiot when it comes to finances, because we already know he's an idiot when it comes to women.

Bonds is my boy, he never did anything wrong! Don't sully his name.

    http://news.google.com/newspapers?n...jcTAAAAIBAJ&sjid=hOoDAAAAIBAJ&pg=1680,6531383

Sun Bonds initiated that court proceeding, asking Bonds to increase his support payments from $15,000 to $130,000, A MONTH. Neither bonds nor his lawyer initiated the proceeding.

The judge lowered it to $7.5k just for support. In all Bonds at the time was paying over $20k a month in support, which today is alot, but then was more. Basically the baby mama didn't want to work.

With seven in five states he's already shown a level of recklessness that very much puts that in doubt for me.

Yea I'm sure they forced him not to wear a rubber.

Not saying he is super intelligent.

Still these children do not have the best chances due to having mothers who view them as paychecks.
