Because this lightning around me is getting a little too close for comfort. Honestly, I think an explosion in the distance.
There were some serious thunder storms in the Ft. Lauderdale area this morning. It was so loud it woke me up from a dead sleep. Pretty ****ty weather.
Last night (this morning I guess) around 5AM it CAME DOWN HARD!!! Holy hell. Sounded like a hurricane outside.
among other things... EDIT: After saying this I realized that it's an inside joke between myself and an old co-worker. Sorry... This further proves that I'm a ****ing idiot.
Effing Mercury hot. An old lady crossing the street just melted. There's just a puddle with dentures in it. True story.
the same storm that was just on you..assuming Boca, came through here at dawn. My place barely got rain but it was just a fluke in the band as it passed. We had 700+ lightning strikes around us by 7am. I didn't think to save a radar loop earlier, I did try and save a relative velocity but it failed. Here is the current at 1015am
Nope. Not even Jack Bauer, Clint Eastwood or Chuck Norris either. A swimming pool across the street just caught fire. Also a true story.
Way to start off summer with a bang! It's pretty hot here nowadays too, no rain. Probably not until around September.
HOT, muggy, no rain, pollen count out of sight. Miserable. You don't even have to move to sweat. I hate summer............................
Right now it's 92 degrees with a dewpoint of 65. You guys in FL are used to this crap by now, but it's just starting for me up here in MN. I miss my "it's warmed up to 15 degrees, let's go skiing" days already...
Absolutely disgusting. I'm in Brooklyn, and it's rained literally almost every day for all of June. Some beginning to Summer.
we were getting pounded by rain storms for about 3 or 4 times a week, sometimes 7 days in a row. each storm had its share of tornados to go around. now its pushing the 100 degree mark and everything is drying out real fast. we're praying for rain now.
Here in CT it's rained for the last two weeks... I think 18/23 days in June it has rained. Where the **** is summer?
Thunderstorms are awesome. Especailly, when it's a nice summer day, and then within a half an hour everything turns black. I love that stuff.
it's hot....it's damn hot..hot with increased chances of dryness..see yall next week. thats the weather for this week and now back to your regularly scheduled program.
this storm came out of nowhere, it hasn't started raining yet but it got real dark and you can hear thunder off to the east
