we have NO issues WHATSOEVER. it is all rainbows around here. young talent + superstar + a ton of cap space.......yeah...we are all good here.

and "sub par" implies something MUCH less than a 5th seed which is what we are now.

I am beginning to think that Mickey Arison must have foreclosed on your house or Haslem shot your dog...because it is uncanny, how every post of yours has to include some type of Heat hate.

oh..and Arison has also said he would go into the luxury tax for certain players. Mo Williams was one we were prepared to go into the tax for..so I guess it applies to arison as well.

 

We didn't have him when we were playing the CELTICS.

 

Bottom line, Heat fans CANNOT talk trash to Magics fans. No one can but the Lakers. We made it to the Finals, you didn't. I don't care what you did 3 years ago, what you're going to do in 2 years, I care about what you did this year. What you did was lose to the Hawks in the first round. You didn't even make it to the second round.

 

unless Shaq finds the fountain of youth and goes back to the Heat, they aren't going anywhere soon.

Nobody knows if Dwade is gonna be there. Maybe, but until he's inks the deals predicting that he will doesn't mean crap. If rainbow means being sub par then you have alot rainbows going your way. Being 5th place in the East is as good as being out of playoffs in the West. So ya its sub par. If your not top 3 in the East you aren't going anywhere. The West 8th seed has a better chance. I would even argue the 9th seed has a better chance since they face tougher competition.

 

sure the heat didnt make it out of the first round but they ended up with the same thing the magic did ....nothing. i believe it doesnt matter if you made it to the finals unless you win it imo

So you are going to trash Orlando, falsely claiming they were "dominated" in the entire series(2 games are accurate)....and then turn around and say that it doesn't matter if we lost by 1 pt or a thousand.....are you serious? Do you even read your own posts?

The 2008-2009 Southeast champions, as well as the 2009 Eastern Conference Champions.

 

Any team with Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade will be a top 5 team in they're conference. In the east with those two guys they'll be a top 3 seed.

 

different sport. making the playoffs in the nfl is so much harder then making it in the nba. making the playoffs in the nfl is an accomplishment itself, just like in baseball. but we were talking about the nba, were 16 teams make it in. win or go home, thats all im saying. thats the moto for a reason

Not trashing the Magic at all. You were one game away from being swept, that is domination. Atleast its my definition of it, sorry.

 

The fact remains, anyone who claims Orlando was dominated in the series is ignoring that there were 3 games that went down to the wire and could have gone either way. Reinforcing that view with comments of "it doesn't matter what the score was", is completely asinine.

You could look at it like Orlando was close to being swept, but then you should also under the same logic look at it like Orlando was just as close to being up 3-1 in that final game where Orlando mailed it in going into the second half.

He said TOP 3...which would mean that the Heat would be better than Orlando. The top 3 is the top division winners....the Heat and Magic are in the same division.

i'm glad the Lakers won it, but if you watched the news about LA everybody knows why i moved out here. some of those people out there are crazy. like david letterman said, "the game is over at 9pm, the partying starts at 10 and the looting starts at 12am".
