My wonderful grandgirls. Their hugs and kisses are worth more than anything. Each day I have, I'm thankful for. And you know, I will add most of you too. You guys can turn a bad, bad day into laughter and/or tears just by reading your posts. You are a special group of caring people. Thanks.
Definitely has to be skiing, being in the mountains, or alpine sliding. Also, waking up in the morning seeing snow on the ground and knowing classes are cancelled. All great feelings.
Coming home from another horrid day at the office and being greeted by my boys who do not care a lick about anything except for attacking me. I'm happy to see the wife too, but she doesn't cry and jump up and down wagging her tail end so I doubt her loyalty is as true.
6:30 in the morning, light 5-10 mph east wind, 1/5th of an orange sun rising, a livewell full of goggle eyes and herring as I'm headed out of the inlet going about 30 knots toward my favorite fishing spot. Yup, that does it for me
Fishing yes, but that feeling of leaving the world behind and heading 20-30-40 miles out into the deep blue Atlantic does something for me that's hard to explain. During those few precious hours it's just me and the ocean. Makes you remeber how small you really are and how big the ocean is, it helps to put things into perspective, at least for me.
Well done. I agree with everything written above, except the D/H in baseball. The NL is right, no D/H thank you.
I'll add (in no particular order): 1) Watching my 6-year old hit a baseball for the first time. 2) Seeing my dog listen to every command I give her...the first time. Much the opposite of my 6-year old I might add. 3) An unobstructed view of the sunrise or sunset...anywhere. But, preferably over the ocean or a body of water. 4) An ice cold beer on Friday night after a long week of work. 5) When my wife agrees with me...about anything. 6) Puttin' my foot into it and hearing the 350 in my old pick up truck growl. She may not look like much, but she runs like a clock! 7) Watching The Dolphins dismantle any opposing team. Preferably a divisional opponent (and, preferably The Patsies). Then giving the one Patsy fan I know grief for a week over it. 8) Having a client go out of their way to acknowledge and thank me for my efforts on a recent project. 9) That first nice spring day after a long cold winter. 10) Waking up each and every day, a free man, knowing I'm in the greatest country in the world. And, thankful for each and every man and woman that has served our country (especially those that made the ultimate sacrifice) so that I can continue to do so.
Last week of school, when we don't do sh!t. And we know we're done, that's it. Porn... ok. Playing PS3. Watching baseball, football, and basketball. Pissing after my blatter was full forever. Waking up thinking I have school, only to realize it's saturday.
Catching a game winning TD pass. Catching a TD is a great feeling but the game winner (in a game that counts) wow you feel ****ing fantastic.
gotta add some.... -taking a steaming hot shower after working out is incredible -sittin in a hot tub then jumping into a pool.....its freezing but incredibly refreshing -standing ontop of a mountain after hiking up and seeing as far as possible....awesome feat
Ehhh, I like watching Pitchers face the best bats 1-9; Dont like watching NL arms get the benefit of a weaker lineup; and dont like the best arm being removed from a game cause of double switch moves. Oh, and I like great hitters being able to prolong their career via the DH role. But I hear ya....
National League Baseball. Good to see one league knows the fundamentlals of the game still. The first week of relationships. Going outside in Hurricanes (yes I'm insane) Beating a fun video game.
I have to agree about waking up an hour or 2 before the alarm goes off. Best feeling ever. That and a nice warm shower.
Worst feelings? They're too numerous to list, but one at the top would have to be going to thread, and looking for some "ha-ha" but finding baseball talk instead.
Well, your first mistake was coming to this thread and looking for "ha-ha"... or "hoo-ha" for that matter.
i totally agree, i actually sleep with my timex ironman watch with the indiglo feature on. that way when i wake up in the middle of the night for any reason, i can check it to see how much more time i have til i gotta get up. love that feeling.
A really good bong hit Walking on the beach at night with a full moon over the ocean All girl Internet Porn Thanksgiving dinner with nobody but me and a football game on tv Miami Hurricanes winning a National Championship I hope to add 'the Miami Dolphins winning the Super Bowl' to the list
thats the worst thing for me as i can't go back to sleep. once i'm up,i'm up. and i've been doing just that all week. waking up an hr before the alarm goes off. what does feel amazing though is jumping in the river(calcasieu)after a long day of work in tripple diget weather..makes me feel like i'm STANDING ON TOP OF A MOUNTAIN WITH THE COOL WIND BLOWING THROUGH MY HAIR!!
When a Stripper grabs my package unannounced. Drinking a beer lounging by the pool. Hitting a large bet in horse racing. Getting dealt good hands at a poker table full of idiots. Spending ALOT of money on a meal at a restaurant and feeling as if the money was well worth it.
