First rule of the Wildcat? You do not talk about the Wildcat.

Second rule of the Wildcat? You do not talk about the Wildcat.

None of the players are allowed to talk about it and even big mouth Channing Crowder will smile and walk away when asked a question about it.

There is more in the article .I cant wait to see what we have up our sleeves in the second stage of the development of the Wildcat

Is the threat greater than the Wildcat itself?

And if you really feel it necessary to talk about the WildCat: see rule #1.

The WC killed the Pats that first game more out of total surprise than anything else. It didn't work against their same D & players in the 2nd game, because they were prepared for it and not surprised. One of the big keys to the WC is opposing D's not knowing what's coming, or how to defend it. So we're going to see a LOT of changes, but only a couple per game as needed.

It still worked in that game, had a nice average if i recall...We were still running the same plays against them.

One team stopped the wildcat for one reason, the ravens, because the whole interior of our offensive line was suspect, and below average.

    totally agree w/ Friend djFinFan
might add: we have an excellent award winning QB who made his bones running the WildCat (Single Wing).
If defenses crowd the box, White will pass the ball. What we have now is a new dimension to the WildCat that completes the system. It has become a Run & Gun system with options on every down. the WildCat will be infinitely more sophisticated in it's implementation & structure.
This is a lot different than playing w/o the proper pieces to run the system
& a defense preparing for only six plays in the single wing repertoire.
The Ravens will not be able to do the same thing this year they did in 2008
with the Orca-5 & WildCatPat + Ronnie Brown & Ricky Williams in the game.

Who you gonna cover? Who you gonna rush?
    Awesome!

You damn strait its a secret club, and the rest of the nfl is not invited..

    Committment to the wildcat..check

    Experienced coaches to install...check

    Players to execute...check

Experience running it at the professional level..Check

    Keepin it in the club....check.

Were so far ahead of the rest, its gonna be fun to see the rest of the NFL try to join the club and get knocked the FU@# out!!! Iam serious to man, if these teams dont come correct, were literally gonna knock them on their *** out of this formation.

Should be fun to see us test a defenses preperation for the scheme once the game starts, you know, a couple of jabs with ronnie, then maybe a nice left hook from Pat, continue the jabs, then go for the knockout.

Smashcat baby....the sh#t is going down all season, First fight in atlanta sep 9th, and all the ones who have disrespected it by calling it a gimmick or trickery, You got first match..but just remember, whats the 1st rule of the WC club?......Thats right.

    GREAT comments 23rd and DJ
Cant wait for the season to start!
How many teams in this league have 3 QB's on the roster that the large majority of that teams fans are excited about??? Pennington: MVP votes last year and getting better in our system, Henne: the future with so much upside and White: adding many dimensions to our already creative offense. :)

It would tickle me to no end to finally see Ronnie Brown get involved in the passing game. Soft hands, he is situationally aware when he catches the ball and gets punishing yac's. He inflicts pain when they try and stop him in space... in slo mo you can see him set it up, dropping his shoulder into them... this means something in the fourth quarter when all the db's are dinged and Ginn isn't.
