Latest thing I could find on her. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vggh8VfoXwM"]YouTube - Gina Carano in-depth interview on "The Wai-In"[/ame]
Wow, as if the show wasn't going to be entertaining enough with Rampage and Rashad they bring the Kimbo circus to town. This is should be very interesting. I never thought they'd give him the chance, but the article is right it is a win/win for the UFC either way.
ok, i don't even know what the other weight class for that season will be, but now i want Junie and/or Rob Browning in the house, to go along with Kimbo. it would be like watching a train wreck every week.
Pretty new. Posted on Monday. She's just the best. OT: I saw a couple of interviews by that guy with Trish Stratus, who now runs a yoga place in Canada. Looks much hotter now IMO.
No other weight class for Season 10, all Heavyweights. They haven't done HW since Season 2 so they decided to go all out.
Something tells me Slice wont last the entire show....he leaves the minute he loses....or he gets kicked out (although I dont think Dana has the stones to really ever kick anyone out of the REALITY TV house).
What would Kimbo's shelf life be anyway? He's a relative newcomer at 35. Gotta be the oldest guy ever to be on that show. Still, I don't know of anyone who won't be curious to see what happens with him on the show, either way. It'll be good TV.
He wont get kicked out. Kimbo is a real cool dude man. He will not be a trouble maker. Now the losing thing, you may be right about.
Yeah, he seems to be a pretty mellow guy when he's not in the ring. MMAWeekly has a new article up about him and he chose to do TUF 10 for next to nothing instead of sign with other promotions for good money. He seems to be all about proving himself. Should be interesting.
would be sick if kimbo became this great HW......imagine the money a ppv would bring in kimbo vs lesnar?!?!?! jesus christ......tuf 10 will be epic!
I can't wait for tonight fellas, a great card being put on by Strikeforce. It's on tonight at 10 PM EST on Showtime. Some notable names on the card are: Andrei Arlovski, Kevin Randleman, Robbie Lawler, Nick Diaz and Joe Riggs. This is one of the better MMA cards I've seen in awhile, including UFC PPV's. It should be a great night of fights! Here are my predictions: Catchweight 182lb bout: Robbie Lawler vs. Jake Shields Heavyweight bout: Andrei Arlovski vs. Brett Rogers Catchweight 179lb bout: Nick Diazvs. Scott Smith Welterweight bout: Phil Baroni vs. Joe Riggs Light Heavyweight Bout: Kevin Randleman vs. Mike Whitehead
After the fight Riggs was shouting with Sylvia. Dont know if they were trash talking, or joking around. I thought they were joking around...anybody else catch that?
Diaz is so unorthodox. He sticks his hands up. He plays the crowd, and the crowd loves it. He has great boxing. He has a black belt in bjj. The guy has phenomenal conditioning. I think he got alot, alot better over the past two years. He keeps his hands too low. He will get KTFOd sooner or later if he wont work on that.
wow. Fedors translator sucks its teh same guy each time he sucks. his Russian is as good as mine Spanish...He ltierally just says "what..think...fight,barnett..do.." ??? You serious? With all the money, all the power...mr. Trump cant find a guy who speaks half decent Russian? Hire me for christs sake. Ill translate for Fedor for free.
That was pretty crazy, you could see Brett Rogers wanted it more. Arlovski looked like he thought he could just walk through Rogers but that wasn't the case. You speak Russian Mari0k? Because I didn't have a freaking clue what the translator was saying, you could tell he obviously shortended what Mauro Ranello was saying.
Diaz is a showmen. He plays to the crowd. And trust me if he felt that other guy could hurt him he would have had his hands up. He was toying with him from the get go. Diaz is a serious talent. He just doesn't have his head on right, hence the success of his brother over him. Rogers is ok, IMO him beating Arvloski at this point in his career holds as much water as Kimbo beating Tank Abbott. The difference between UFC and this company is you wont see fighters like Arvloski that have no business fighting anymore. He was done years ago. If Rogers steps in the octagon with Fedor, he's going to get hurt.
I think its more his ego and his confidence. If you go back on his career, the first time he lost to Silvia, after that he was done. He was never the same fighter again.
What was Diaz saying after the fight? Something about Smith's training partners not being good guys and how they talked to Diaz's camp about how Smith wasn't training hard enough or something? I couldn't make it out because Diaz mumbles like his brother. That was a great fight though, Diaz has no power at all but those 300+ punches will do their damage over the course of 15 minutes.
He said that he likes Smith but the camp he goes to is no good and that he should come to his camp and train. Which Smith might want to do. He needs to change things up, he's got potential, IMO.
He also said that Smiths training partners bsically told him everything about Smith. Link for WEC anyone?
Faber/Brown was good. Faber broke his hand in 2nd and still fought like a bull. Respect to him. I think Brown grinded out a solid decision.
Definitely, Arlovski has never been the same since losing to Sylvia. Completely lost that killer instinct. Crazy fight, Faber actually broke his hand in the 1st from what I read. You could tell he was favoring it pretty early. The WEC card was crazy, can't believe Cub Swanson got rocked so fast. I was really looking forward to that fight.
