Well, nothing we didn't really know already, but nice to hear anyway. Taylor is not the player he was when he left here, but seems to have found out the hard way that the grass isn't always greener elsewhere. I would love to see him take 15-20% of the plays from Roth and 15-20% of the plays from Porter. From Roth on obvious passing downs to increase the pass rush and from Porter to save him for later in games and in the season...I would guess that is the ideal situation for all three players, but it's nice to dream about here in June...
Right Larry, exactly how I'd like to see JT used this season, but then when does Cam Wake get on the field? He might be the best pass rusher of the four.
I think ya'll are underestimating JT...15 20 plays,3rd down pass rusher...i disagree, i dont think hes lost a step, i think you will see a dominating linebacker that will demand more playing time.
I do agree that he's too good to only be on the field that long but I think Roth is also gonna prove his worth and seems to have the strongside starter role locked up from the sounds of it but we'll see I guess. Cam may need a year to get acclimated with the defense but we'll see when the preseason roles around...
I'm really anxious to see if JT has really lost a step. He looks in great shape, from the little film I've seen. I'm hoping every one is surprised to see him and Joey take down some of those qb's. IMO, their heart will take over on the field. Cuz' they both have a lot of heart for this team.
