Jake Long [115] - Jake is the man. But this is Ronnie's year. Ronnie Brown [147] + Going to be fun watching Ronnie do his thing this year. Tony Sparano [188]
Jake Long [114] - Ditto: Jake is the man. But this is Ronnie's year. Ronnie Brown [148] + Ditto: Going to be fun watching Ronnie do his thing this year. Tony Sparano [188]
Jake Long [115] +++ Ronnie Brown [147] --- Tony Sparano [188] I see a trend here that is going to be hard to change I think.
I'm having a hard time choosing between these three so I thought I'd break them down by category. Skill - Ronnie gets the nod. He is such a complete player. He has speed, size, strength, soft hands, and he can block. Sparano and Long may be just as skilled at their respective jobs but they lack experience at this point. Likability - All three are very likable. Almost impossible to choose between them. Value - Now that we have Pat White to run the Wildcat Ronnie's value has taken a hit. Could we win without Ronnie? Maybe. Probably. However we should be careful not to discount the value of those TD runs. That being said its far more likely that we would lose if we didn't have Sparano or Long. So they get the nod here. Desire, dedication, and work ethic - Sparano gets the nod. Not that Ronnie and Big Jake are lacking but anybody who stays up all night evaluating game film after a loss is the very definition of desire, dedication, and work ethic. Toughness - Long gets the nod. Ronnie is plenty tough but the injuries factor into this category. Sparano is also tough but if I'm picking somebody to be in a fight with me I'm taking Big Jake. Star power - Another point for Ronnie. Nobody is going to Dolphin Stadium to see Jake Long block or Sparano yelling on the sidelines. They go to see Ronnie make big plays. Of course the team needs to win but Ronnie puts butts in the seats. So... Ronnie gets 3 points for skill, likability, and star power. Big Jake gets 3 points for likability, value, and toughness. Sparano gets 3 points for likability, value, desire, dedication, and work ethic. Dammit! This didn't help me at all.
Jake Long [115] +++ best player on the team! Ronnie Brown [147] --- We have been saying "this is ronnies year" ever since he was drafted. He may not be a dolphin next year. Tony Sparano [188]
Jake Long [114] +++ Ronnie Brown [143] Tony Sparano [193] --- I can't believe you people want the coach to win this... especially when we have two of the best PLAYERS on this team left in the game...
