He must be wearing some sort of padding and weights for speed purposes, ive never been more happy being wrong, thank goodness. The man is a legit mvp candidate this year.
Im not sure who the last RB was to make back to back pro bowls for Miami or if any have. I actually think that no one has but not sure. I do know that Ricky didnt make it back to back.
I hear ya Djp, I sort of thought the same thing when the last OTA video was put up, but then I noitced Ricky Williams sort of looks the same way, and Ricky is a health nut now, so it must be some sort of specialized piece of equipment they are wearing.
I want to see Ronnie throw a pancake block that springs Ricy, then to see Ricky throw one that springs Ronnie, etc. etc.
dude, do you get the fact that he is wearing padded weights and how i might of got that mixed up. Your comments like " well done", are totally disregarding the fact that he is wearing stuff that makes him look overweight from a glimpse on a highlight. it was an honest mistake and one that needed an answer.

I don't see where it says that he was ever wearing any sort of special, padded weight on his body...are you just guessing, to try to make your overreaction not look so bad? Or is there something that I'm missing...my apologies if I am.
its all good brother, i trust my eyes as well as anyone on this board, i saw something that was disturbing, and was backed by some other well respected members about what i saw, turns out, i did see something, just not what i thought. {others are now speculating about him running around with weights and padding, which i think is a fantastic idea} Your reputation on this board makes me take your opinion seriously, no matter how outlandish it might seem. I'm glad to hear that Ronnie is in shape. With him being 2 years removed from the ACL injury and playing in an offense designed for his strengths, I expect big, big things. Good to hear he's working on delivering.
I was thinking the same thing yesterday. Before he got hurt on in '07, he really was on the verge of being one of the best backs in the league, if not THE best on a team that was winless with him amd finished 1-16....

Sure he's 230. He's already sweat off the extra dozen pounds of twinkies and fudge cakes after all that running in the Miami heat. Everybody looks fat to me, cause I have fat eyes.
Yeah...he's wearing a black shirt under his jersey. Doesn't look anything like some sort of weight belt, and no one is claiming that Ginn looks like he put on 25-30 extra lbs...

It was me boss, watching the first ota highlight of ronnie i noticed he was carrying what seemed to be an inordinate amount of weight around his middrift, i looked several more times and was sure of it. so i posted that he looked fat, some respected members agreed with me, some didnt. Ive been hearing some things that he might be wearing some weighted padding or something to gain speed, which if true, explains that i wasnt seeing things, just an honest mistake for weight. He was wearing something in that first ota highlight, and if some people cant see that, i wouldnt trust their eyes. anyways, its been quite funny seeing how people react and protect their own, its refreshing cause iam usually the one in that role. I also said to everyone once i found out what sparano said, that i was so happy for being wrong, you know ronnie's my boy, regardless, it doesnt change the fact that he was wearing something around his middrift in that first ota highlight.
he looked like the penguin in the first ota highlight, is that fat enough for ya..lol Its starting to make sense, when i go back and watch it, you can see for a split second in the backfield, that he literally has to pick his legs up and trudge just to get going, hes definitely wearing something that makes him look like a jelly doughnut.lol
I dunno... it looks like he has more than just a shirt... one of those hefty bag things that guys wear to lose weight while working out. There's a scientific name for it...
I remember when they were saying Ricky was over weight one season at 234. Didn't he run for over 1800 yards that year? I'm sure he will sweat off a few off season pounds and be at the weight the FO wants once the "real" football starts. He has been looking good in OTA and hungry for a big money contract next year.......(s) He will be fine,count on it !
