Blitz can i persuade ya in the meantime lol? If i say Jake you say Sparano!! If I say Jake you say Sparano! LOL Ok, While Jake long has been a amazing Tackle for us he is one man holding the blind side! Ronnie is a Franchise back and the man i want being the leading RB on this team. Ronnie is poised for a return to form as a bulldozer in 2009. While he captained the wildcat and played lights out! Without coaches balls to start the wildcat his numbers would be subpar. Many people believe a coach cant win, i digress. Why not, coaches create opportunity and drive players everyday to reach the peak of performance. Sparano while new (and he will be tested long term) created the strong skills and utilizided them to bring this team to 11 wins! I say rock on and while one season is not a Franchise Coach, its a great start. Saban Had the attitude but not the heart, lets hope we have the man now.
Without blocking Ronnie Brown doesn't get anywhere. Also I think Jake will be a part of this team much longer than Ronnie. Tony was great last year, but many coaches have a good season and then totally fall off the face of the Earth. Sparano needs to prove he can do it for more than one year. Jake Long is the only one left who should win IMO.
Sparano while coach sets the schemes and he's a ex line coach. Now with Longs skills and what appears to be a love for the game Long will be here for years i hope. Ronnie could be. But after last year we have to give Sparano credit you don't turn the attitude from losers to winners quickly on a Left Tackle IMO GO SPARANO!!!
I'm going with Ronnie... he's been a Phin the longest, he always smiles taking everything in stride, this year he is going to break out of his "stat funk" that the detractors point to... IMO, he's the most important piece to our offensive puzzle. Down the stretch last year he was huge in the fourth quarter and was as much a reason to our teams success in making the playoffs as Pennington was... he's going to have a great year working for a new deal. As Gish would say, it's time to "get down" with Ronnie Brown!! Give Ronnie Brown the CROWN! Who does the pirate want to win? ArrrRBeee!!! Jake is great... Tony is solid... Ronnie is THE MAN! I'm on board. I've been voting for Ronnie the past couple days, and I think I'm ready to make a full time thing. Ronnie is my favorite player, stats or inconsistencies be damned. He's going to make it happen this year. And the smile is just the icing on the cake!
You make a great argument. I also don't think Sparano will turn out anything like Saban at all. Saban was a pompous *** always looking for the next big pay day. Sparano is dedicated to this team. All that said, I think I have my mind made up on Ronnie.
If Tony wasn't our coach we wouldn't be 11-5. He's the only one in this contest that's irreplaceable.
Thank you. Somebody sees my point. Tony is the only guy ive voted thruout this compotition. And no, dont change the freaking rule. This things is meant to drag out. The OTAs aren't even over yet for christs sake! Jake Long [133] Ronnie Brown [143] - Tony Sparano [174] +
Jake Long [134] Ronnie Brown [143] + Tony Sparano [173] - I have no dogs in this hunt ... my vote is up for grabs. I'm going Ronnie on this one because I think he singlehandledly whipped the Patriots last week ... and it was one of the most dominating performances I've seen against New England ... I'd have to go back the the Ricky game where he ran for 200 yards, and we still lost.
