Chad Pennington [14]--- Noodle-roni will be holding the clipboard-aroni by end of year. Jake Long [145] Ronnie Brown [146]+++ Tony Sparano [145]
Chad Pennington [12] - It's a solid spot for him to finish at. Jake Long [146] Ronnie Brown [146] Tony Sparano [146] + Just to make things even.
for you guys predicting chad is going to be on the bench you guys really better hope that henne is ready (i have high hopes for him but am at least realistic about it) because if he's not then you guys are really going to have to eat your words with all the chad hate. not talking about voting against him, but some of the comments have me shaking my head
Relax, much of it is in jest. The hope however IS that our young players are good enough to replace old correct? I mean that's the point of draft picks. Yes I have hopes Chad Henne is more of a QB than Pennington. Why on earth wouldn't I? Having said that I know we'll have an uspecatacular but at least consistent QB in Pennington if Henne dosen't reach his potential. It may not have anything to do with Henne at all though with Pennington's injury history. Not Chad Hate, just Chad reality.
Relax? WHAT DO YOU MEAN BY RELAX!!!!!!?!?!?! haha j/k :P oh I do too, it's just my opinion when you have a top 15 QB (I don't think that's too unrealistic) that's playing at a high level, you don't hope that guy gets hurt or sucks so your unknown who "might" be better can come in and show his stuff. I like Henne trust me I think he has his head on straight and really if he was picked by Parcells and company then I really have high hopes for him because those guys don't make a ton of mistakes and really know how to judge talent. predicting chad is going to get hurt is in my opinion predicting we're going to have a shaky season because 1st year starting QBs usually stuggle. now if we have a bad record i'm all for putting him in there, but as far as i know we went 11-5 and that's with chad only having 3 weeks in our offseason program before the bullets started flying. that was SAVAGE and you don't just toss Qbs like that on the bench unless they prove they can't do it anymore. Chad turns 33 this year, not 37. 33 is a prime age for QBs (one of the later prime years but still a prime year) I don't think it's out of mind to think Penny could IMPROVE over what he did last year with a year in the system, getting timing with our receivers and an improved defense (on paper) behind him. support your noodlearm, he's the best we've had since 1998 (Marino's last year sucked :/ )
