What is the point of this thread? Well, as many of you already know, there's a site out there, FMyLife.com, where people post stories of occurences in their life that was so screwed up that it just it just makes them say, well, "F My Life", with a lot of those stories being quite humorous. So, I figured, how about I start a thread where we can post our own F My Life stories? I'll start off with a few of my own. 1. At one time, I was in the parking lot with a girl that I liked. We shared a kiss, and with me being slightly old-fashioned, I figured that it would mean we were official. Then a few days later, I got Facebook and friended her. And because of the wonderful feature of status updates, I found out that she started a relationship with another dude after the kiss. 2. Back when I was in JROTC in high school, I was part of the corps' Armed Drill Team. During one competition, we put together a near flawless routine. We ended up in last place. Why? It turns out that different drill meets have different judging standards. That drill meet, was by Army standard. We were doing things by Air Force procedure. 3. I landed a job at one point. It paid eleven dollars an hour. I got fired after one week for not being communicative enough. My main job was filing papers.

I had recently broken up with a girl (not my idea) and was set up on a blind date. My ex wanted to try and work things out with me and I agreed, but it was too late to cancel the blind date without being a total ***... So, I went out with this girl and she was perfect in damn near every way. Beautiful, funny, smart, enjoyed some of the same hobbies I did... I reiterate, damn near every way... Sadly, I was totally hung up on my girlfriend, so this other girl and I were just friends(TM). As soon as this girl moved out of Colorado, my girlfriend cheated on me. Of course, the happy ending: I met my wife and my ex got exceptionally jealous and tried to win me back... Needless to say it didn't work.
At my Senior Prom my girlfriend made out with another guy on the dance floor in from of pretty much the entire senior class. She was my ex-girlfriend by the next morning.
Ha....atleast someone figured out the Braveheart clip was more about the freedpm than me wanting my head cut off!
i partially tore my pcl my senior year of football in highschool.........i lost many scholarhsips to big schools such as illinois, fau, troy, and usf.......i still managed to recieve a scholarship to a D2 school in north carolina.......during my first spring practice, after hell weeks, 5 am runs, 2 semesters of college, and my first college regular season.........i jump up, make an interception, land and get my knee blown out by the running back making the tackle.....they didnt renew my scholarship.....i dropped out (couldnt afford private college w/out scholarship) and have never played football sense.....**** my life.
Just to get the focus off of women for a bit...... On my way back home, I was stranded on the side of an exit ramp because my timing belt broke. So I called my mom, she calls AAA, they send a tow truck. Tow truck goes to the wrong exit, and instead of calling, just left.
1. Similar to yours but it was the move-in concert they always hold in 1st week of Fall quarter. Ended up, I found out later she's been in a relationship since she was in junior high and he was in college. That had me wincing. 2. My dad's cancer got worse and he died while I couldn't get back from SD in time, had to change up my entire summer plans in an effort to graduate early, ended things with my girlfriend when she went to study abroad in Spain (later got back together to possibly break up again this summer), school wouldn't let me stay a little longer to get a double major and bump up the GPA a little more because I had too many units, lofty inheritance taxes pretty much wiped away anything I could even inherit, someone in a yellow car scratched the paint off one rear door on the Camry while it was parked outside my student apartment, medical bills for dad's cancer treatments and oncologist visits reached $300k wiping out my entire med school savings with barely any income now that primary earner has passed away, notched the worst grades I ever got in my life which all but nails the coffin on my hopeful career (especially after applying the year later and getting into Alabama and VCU, decided not to go, before the GPA dip), considered suicide but ended up getting sick not dying, and I had multiple bouts with allergies and flu. All in the same year. Still struggling to pay the bills since lab currently working in is out of money. 3. Torn an ACL in freshman year of high school, never played a down of football again and the knee is still gimpy from time to time. Also dated for the first time that year and have the scars literally to show for it. (never dated Asian chicks after that as well) 4. Need to do well on the MCAT to overcome a few bad grades and own race+gender to get a chance to be the only thing I ever want to be. 1st MCAT Physical sciences 12, Verbal 15, Bio 7, total 34R. Wait one year to devote to improving Bio and getting at least 37. 2nd MCAT Phy 12, Verbal 9, Bio 13, total 34S. 3rd MCAT with less time to prep: ?

I dated a girl for two years, and was going to ask her to marry me. Then one day out of nowhere BOOM over.
I applied and got accepted to FAU so I could stay close to my girl at the time. She broke up with me a week after her birthday.
I went to Jump School right after basic, shredded my knee landing wrong off the little 6 ft platform, couldn't finish, got sent to Ft. Bragg ANYWAY as a "leg". Torture, pure torture.

oh you know i've been lurking the whole time man. i've been busy with work since the beginning of 08 but i actually just got a new job 2 months ago that doesn't mind if i browse the web a little during downtime. i wasn't around during the whole TH/FH feud but i don't think i even want to know went down during all that. but yeah i figured "some" people would recognize my name when i posted. hah i thought you would've noticed me more when i posted in the thread where you and jaydog were goin back and forth :P funny thing, jay back in like 03 gave me like a 200 dollar shula esque dolphins jacket, and you have my old pre 21 years old license. *really really sorry about another OT post i'll keep it to PMs after this i promise
i had surgery on my achillies tendons to lower them down so I could walk like normal people walk (i used to walk on my tip toes). during this same surgery i had my right knee broken and turned 90 degrees to the right and a pin set in place. when it was time to take the pin out the guy pulling it said there was "no time for anesthesia" and went ahead and pulled it out with a pair of pliers. **** my life.
between 3rd and 4th grade I broke both arms being flipped out of a tire swing. I was flung about 16 feet in the air flipping feet first landing on my knees and wrists. my right wrist was severely fractured and my left fore arm was a clean break through both bones (yes, it dangled like a joint at the point of break). I had to have the clean break re set twice during the summer with no anesthesia. could not draw blood because of the cast on my right arm. I was awake both times the Doc re-broke the arm...
When I was 3, I broke a leg jumping out of a tree (after I watched my brother do it). Within a week of getting that cast off, I broke my other leg.
1 week before a soccer final when I was at (high) school I broke my ankle falling down a hole my parents new puppy had dug! I then found out there was a scout at the game to watch a couple of us. The next year we made the final again and despite scoring twice in the game I missed the last penalty shoot-out kick in p*sspoor weather! oh and no scout bothered to turn up this time round. FML!
