Stranger than Fiction was a good movie, as long as you dont go into it thinking its going to be a typical WF movie. It isn't really that funny, but it has its moments. I like to compare it to Truman for Carrey, kind of out of the box for the actor but still a good flick.

Role Models had its moments. Its a good movie to watch once, but has no rewatch value whatsoever.

I liked that movie waaaaaaay more than I thought I would. Its not only hilarious, but its actually a really good movie. The characters are unique and developed. The story is strong and relatively realistic.

Just watched Night Watch and Day Watch. Had seen Night Watch before, but not Day Watch. They are awesome. Very sci-fi meets Highlander take on vampires. I suggest renting them both together.

from what I've read all it is is maher "debating" lunatics. Thus no real debate. Thats always been my problem with maher, most of what he does recently seems to be an attempt to help his ego.

hey man, just wanted to say I loved 'Good Will Hunting' what a great movie. Saw it in the theatre. Loved when Damon's character intelligently dusted the Harvard assholle in the movie, with book knowlege, one of my favorite parts. That and when Afflecks character told him about how it'd be a shame for him to be around in 30 years, that would be an insult to those guys for him to be there in 30 years.

I can relate to that, living in Daytona Beach, FL, I know lots of guys who will wake up in 30 years trying to make ends meet. Hell, I know guys that will be doing it next month. Guys that let their talent go and partied too hard, and guys that didn't wear a condom. They all fall into the same category. It's called living in a trailer park with no way out, but thank God for the cable tv, and the weekly paycheck to get a 12 pack. Don't let that happen to you buddy, just some friendly advice. Seen it happen WAY too many times.

Not in mine. So point is whose right?
The moral of the story is its probably made up of looney tunes and regular normal people, but I doubt in his attempt to prove his point, maher shows that. Its dishonest.

Star Trek... What a boring movie. It seems like everyone loves it but I can't figure out why. I had no idea what to expect as I know next to nothing about Star Trek brand. It was just... sucky. I'll take the worst of of Star Wars > Star Trek.

Just saw Star Trek last night and it was...awesome. On par with Ironman.

I loved everything they did from casting to story, except for one thing...

Kirk kicked no ones ***. In fact he loses every fight he gets into. Not only that, but damn near every major crew member has to save his life at some point. The guys in the bar kick his ***, and Pike has to save him. The Romulan on the drill kicks his *** and Sulu has to save him. Spock kicks his *** and Spock's dad has to save him. The creatures on the frozen planet kicks his ***, and Spock has to save him. Nero kicks his *** and technically Spock saves him again. Then the other Romulan on the ship kicks his ***, and this time he saved himself, but with a gun.

I really like that movie. And don't tell me you're surprised the Coen Bros ended a movie like that?

With the Coen's, I've learned not so much to wait for the destination, but to just enjoy the ride.

Well, that's a problem. With Burn After Reading, I didn't enjoy the ride.

Part of what I think put me in a negative frame of mind right off the bat was the prologue, which seemed like a much paler imitation of the opening to Charlie Wilson's War. And from there, it just crawled along.

I thought Brad Pitt's character was fantastic. And George Clooney's "project" scene was worth the price of admission. I'll give you it was slow at times, but I thought the clever dialogue made up for it.
