I was a DC kid who will watch Marvel movies. Anyway, I occasionally look at superherohype.com hoping to find a crumb on Superman, Wonder Woman, or the Flash and came across this.

    Isn't Thor blond?

I'm an old school marvel fan (like DC too) so I am really looking forward to Thor and Avengers movies. They were among my favorite titles. I'd love to see a Dr Strange big budget flick too or at least a cameo. They are playing The Hulk on Cinemax this month and that scene at the end where Stark says we're putting a team together makes me feel like a kid on Christmas morning.

    Thanks for posting this. :)

Sometimes dye jobs look fake. We'll see.

There's more to these roles than just looking the part. Hope it works out.

That's true, but it's an essential element. It causes disruption in the universe when characters start looking completely different.

One of the worst is the way the P.C. fascists try to take over and call for casting Superman or Wonder Woman as African-American.

I hope they get his powers and attitude right. Any one remember the Bill Bixby Hulk version of Thor? It was horrible. I understand a made for TV movie in the late 70's early 80's has limited resources but even with that is was just bad.

Thor was damn near Superman / Hulk level power from what I remember from the comics and novel as well as Norse mythology.

I am looking forward to this though as Marvel has done very good on Iron Man and the Hulk.

Good choice IMO. In Star Trek they did an amazing job of casting him as Pine's Father.

It would be nice if he had a cameo in the new Iron Man film coming out this week.
