Its not about whether or not JT has money, he certainly does, but he does have the right to go play for the team that gives him the best chance to win. Remember he's been a Dolphin through some of the worst times here he wants to make the most out of the last year or two he has left. I'm not sure how wanting to win makes someone all about themselves or having a me only attitude but whatever. I think if Zach had gotten a call from NE this offseason he would have strongly considered it. Saying something is about JT and his family doesn't mean its all about money, I think he would play for us for less to keep his family in Miami and to go out a Dolphin, hopefully that happens.

The venom he is getting is well deserved. He wanted out of Miami. In his own words " I just want to play for a winner" and coming off a 1-15 season, it surely did not mean playing here. There are plenty more statements by him that suggested he wanted out of here.

I saw plenty of venom spewed at Welker, and I am one of them for the exact reason you stated. Welker was my favorite Dolphin but that stopped dead the second I read that crap. Same goes for JT but to a lesser degree right NOW but if he indeed signs with the Patsies it's equal.

I never said that his family doesn't take precedence. Like I said before, if he had any brain, his family and his kids and their kids and maybe their kids will be fine. This is exactly the attitude which I was referring to. I'll bet you anything that this situation has absolutely nothing to do with his families well being. I guarantee you that he knows his family and their families will be fine. A lot of people get all righteous and holier than now and act like we are all like Ward Cleaver or Mr. Brady(before the world found out that he was a brownie hound :D) or Cliff Huxtable(sp?) C'mon! IT"S NOT ABOUT THAT AT ALL. This is definitely more about JT himself. And believe me, once you get like 4 or 5 generations out, you don't give a s---. :D

That kind of thinking is what has gotten this country into the shape it is currently in. :D Just kidding. :D We're getting way off the point here.

Also, many other of my points were ignored, but that's totally cool.

Oh c'mon. This has absolutely nothing to do with his family's well being. I'm sure he loves his family very much, but like i said, they'll be more than fine and it's not about that, I'll bet you anything. ;).
Ahhh! Staring down at their really deprived, desperate, hungry, starving faces. That's sweet. I'm getting a warm fuzzy. :D

    ....LOL Just messin' bro! :D

Neither are what you want out of a player on your team is it?

I don't care whose mentality was worse or more disruptive, IMO both needed to go elsewhere and neither should be welcomed back.

That doesn't relate to this situation at all. I don't know what you do, but I'm sure JT has probably made quite a bit more dough than you. Like I said before, if he had half a brain, his family and their families, etc. should be set for life, but if you want to make it to be about that, which it is not, then feel free, cool! ;)

P.S. I'm just having some fun with you guys regarding this JT thing. Honestly, I couldn't give a s--- anymore, at this point. :D LOL!!!!!! Peace!

    Well....

The thing is I dont know the guy personally.

I am just going by what he said when he signed with Dallas which was:

Zach Thomas: "I played against New England twice a year every year my whole career. I learned to not like that team. I wasn't going to join them."

That statement just makes me believe that he would not join the Pats or the Jets.

ESPECIALLY the Jets...We dont have to rehash the drama he's had throughout his career against them. I am sure he hates them more than even the Pats.

Had JT not joined ''dancing with the stars'', remained with a REAL COACHING STAFF for the first time in his life, maybe he'd be today pairing with Porter on a nasty OLB combo, looking for a shot on the Super Bowl.

With the Pats he won't have this 'guaranteed' SB shot anymore. They used to, not anymore. Other NFL teams discovered what you need to get there on the NFL modern era, the dolphins is one of these teams. He'd be better here..considering his history with the team.

well, but these are 'choices' in life.

I wonder if the news of a Taylor-Pats connection has sparked their interest further... I would really hate to see JT wearing their colors.

    Bump.

I wish I got paid to speculate about football like Chris Mortenson does. My sources tell me that...oh, I dunno...Braylon Edwards will be traded for Anquan Boldin within the next 3 months.

How many of the original people who said they would burn their jerseys are actually going to do it now? I can't believe how much the media controls things here in the states. It seems like we all just get hysterical over every bit of news.

Mortensuck said we were gonna trade ronnie brown and ricky williams before the start of the season last year....hes done in my book, i saw him throw sh## out there with absolutely not a drop of evidence, all the while not taking into account the inner dynamics of the team to make such properterous claims.

I think JT showed alot of people here something. Taking FAR less money to come back home (whatever the reason) redeems him in my eyes. We are a society that loves vilifying athletes for their mistakes, but will gladly forgive them if they attempt to make things right. Good on you, JT.

And I was on that bandwaggon of JT haters. I still don't like what he did, and it takes some of the "love" I felt for JT, and tarnishes it, but he is back, and a Dolphin, so I will support him.

But lets see if he makes the OTA's and TC before we declare him back 100%.

Didn't Crowder say he was already there in his interview on MD.com?

I never quit supporting him Kev. I'll never believe he was the evil doer that some of you guys thought he was.

I love my Dolphins and having JT back just makes it that much sweeter.

Channing C said he texted JT and told him to get his "butt" into the OTA's and work out with the rest of the guys.

Maybe he did, I haven't had a chance to go to MD today or even yesterday. "Evil Doer", yikes.......that invokes (bad) memories of one of George Bush's catchphrases ! But that said, I still believe he instigated his departure last year, and made it a public mess. I really don't believe that would been the chosen way for Parcells to go, but JT insisted on it with his behavior. His coming back doesn't make those things go away, and while I might forgive, I don't forget and my enthusiasm for JT will never be what it once was. That is on him, not Parcells.

DDebby, there apparently will be no press conference announcing the signing, I just listened to Skolnick on WQAM and he seriously doubted one would happen because they want to treat JT just like everyone else.

I kind of thought that would be the case.
It's probably a good thing. Maybe they'll just bring it up later in some of the regular interviews.
    Thanks.
