I like them to Mary. But my all time favorite is the aqua with white pants. Used to love to see Zonk, Marino etc. hit the field in that combo. Heck, I like to see them hit the field in anything.
Orange is ok with me.. Look kinda good.. I think I read somewhere that they'll be making a comeback this year. Can't remember where, maybe on CC sportslogos forum?? I wish they would bring back the all aqua - Those were really nice.. Or throwbacks.. Heck, I love them all!! - well.. except for white top, aqua pants.. Those are just bad!
As much as I love our Orange Jerseys, No jersey can top the Chargers Alternate. That blue is the best color.
If they will be used I am guessing it will be the Thursday night game versus the Panthers because I am pretty sure the MNF Jets game and SNF Pats game will feature the old throwback uniforms. If that's the case then fans of the orange jerseys will be pleased (as they will be worn in prime time) and non orange jersey fans will be happy since it will be to a smaller crowd on the NFL Network. Personally I like them but I also like the navy blue alternates (never worn) a few years back as well.
We used the aqua and white's under Wanny too. Those jerseys may not look like empty seats, but they weren't present in the stands either. I don't associate the jersey with the coach, I just think it's a nice change from the norm. The orange jerseys look alot better than those navy jerseys that pop up online every now and then.
I've got a navy Ricky and Marino. I'm not crazy about them. I like to fly our colors, so there's no doubt who I love..
The Orange Jerseys aren't so bad, its a nice change once in a while as long as its not permanent. I'm okay either way, with or without.
I always thought they should change the colors of the seats... ORANGE JERSEYS KICK ***! Now, I'm not for changing the uniforms permanently to orange, but every once in a while, to wear something different is a healthy thing! I loved the orange, loved the aqua on aqua look, loved the 72 throwback unis... anything different is good!! it doesn't have to be permanent...
I totally agree brother. The few games we wore them, you guys do realize that we were on the verge of defeat right? Didn't we defeat the Pats on like basically the last play? Didn't we defeat the 'Skins by the 'skin' of our teeth? Those things have bad voodoo and need to be placed far away from this squad. Just call them the heart attack jerseys. You want to bring back jerseys? Bring back the 1972 jerseys and logos. You say that logo looks funny huh? Well, that was PURE MIAMI DOLPHIN football and it got us 2 SB Championships and 5 appearances, countless AFC East Championships, etc. etc. That the Broncos and Bears wore that color? So? How many SBs did the Broncos WIN while wearing that stuff? Chicago? Well, back in the day they must've put a curse on that thing because in '85 they weren't wearing it. Maybe they are the ones that need to go back to that full time. In FLA, the FIRST team that wore that orange tang looking junk was the Bucs. They got rid of it as soon as they wanted a better image.
I'd like to see a kind of hybrid of this. Unlike most, I like the newer logo. We should keep the logo but bring back a 70's style jersey. Really, I'd just be happy if we got rid of the STUPID looking 3-D numbers we have now. They are freaking awful.
The orange jerseys are coming back this year for at least one game, maybe the max of two given that we are guaranteed four primetime games.
On the Sporslogo forums, from a guy who has access to official NFL style guides almost as soon as they come out because of the work he does. Apparently the orange jersey hasn't been a part of the Fins' style guide since they were last used in 06.
