Takes away the "make it in front of you" sales pitch. But yea Id be all for that ecspecially with the 5 dollar footlong deal......thats lunch and dinner.
ive been to one that does...it was in wyoming lol but thats the only one ive seen with a drive thru line
We have one in Springfield MO its great hope you guys get some in your areas. Out of the like 50 subways only one has a drive-thru dont know the reason but its great.
Ok.... Spicy Italian with pepper jack cheeses lite lettuce bannana peppers with Mayo and italian dressing. Or... Meatball on Italian with bannana peppers with extra salt and pepper.
spicy italian, hot peppers, either pepperjack or provolone cheese, oil&vinergar and make sure lots of black olives and onions mmm baby
here's my predicament though. I work next to a quizno's and they always give me a deal on my food- so i can get a regular sized (8 or 10 in i think?) premium sub (usually Baja Chicken) and a large soda for 6 dollars, when it should usually be up around 10. i think quizno's subs are better tasting, but the price makes subway taste more delicious usually. but when I'm only paying a dollar more and i can get a large soda too and only lose a couple inches on my sub.. it becomes a tough, tough choice
I've pondered this at various points in my life, how awesome this would be. I guess it'd be like when you drive thru at Boston Market. Or Steak and Shake at any time when it's not light out. It'd take forever. Most likely it's because they're trying to differentiate themselves from fast food.
spicy italian on italian herbs and cheese...pepper jack cheese, mustard, jalapenos, cucumbers, onions, banana peppers, and bell peppers....daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn im hungry
Also want to share with you all a tragedy that has literally shaken me to my core: I got minor food poisoning from a Publix sub a few weeks ago. Ever since then, I can't bring myself to go near a Publix deli. And it makes me sad. Last time this happened, I didn't eat a DiGiorno pizza for 7 years. And it's been a decade since I've had a Hot Pocket.
I got food poisining about 2 years ago from my fav. pizza spot Papa Johns, and I just cant order it anymore... Wish I would get poisining from beer soi could give that up.
The perfect Subway sandwich Italian BMT. White bread. One slice of ham, extra pepperoni, provolone (toasted). Lettuce, tomato, onions, banana peppers, extra black olives, little mayo, lot of spicy mustard, salt and pepper.
anything chicken. and you guys are going to think i'm more crazy than i already am; but I like mayo on meatball sandwiches sometimes...
just had subway for lunch oven roasted chicken breast on italian herbs/jalepeno jack/lettuce/mayo/mustard/lettuce/olives /red onions/cucumbers/carrots/cilantro
Footlong Italian BMT, cheddar, oil&vin, lettice, tomato, red onions, pickles, jalapeno, peppers, and toasted = best.subway.sandwhich. Sometimes I'll get a chicken bacon ranch (minus the ranch) w/lettuce, tomato, red onions, pepper, and chipotle sauce.
The number one problem with Subway is once you go in, you smell like Subway for the remainder of the day. It sucks.
They dont have drive thru's to make you get off your lazy arse and get out of your car and get it you lazy bastich!
6 inch tuna on italian herb and cheese, american cheese not toasted. lettuce, tomatoes, onions, black olives, pickles, green peppers, oil/vinegar, salt/pepper, oregano, Parmesan cheese and a little bit of honey Mustard. Salt and Vinegar Lays chips. Love it. Also: Chicken Bacon ranch on italian herb and cheese. That bread is so amazing toasted.
We have a drive thru here. Subway Club w/ lettuce, pickles, banana peppers, jalapeno peppers, green peppers, red pepper relish, and salt/pepper...only way to go!
That sucks horribly bad. If we are talking a lunch meat sandwich, you cannot, under any circumstances beat Publix. The one-two-three punch of Boar's Head, the Publix bakery and Salt Vinegar Dirty Chips, will never be trumped. Seriously, I'd rather get swine flu than never eat a Publix sub again. As far as Subway goes, Footlong Meatball, light on the sauce, provolone on Parmesan Oregano bread, with some grated cheese ftw. Not toasted either. If you like toasted subs you suck at more than just food...you suck at being a human. There, I said it. It had to be done. Carry on.
Toasted is the way to go. Ask the emo kid behind the counter to work on his oven skills. Slightly toast it. Please.
Jersey Mikes >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Subway... although, there's a local deli here in So Cal called "Italia Deli" it's off Kanan Road in Agoura... Great place!! Also, they have (had?) a Krispy Kreme in the SF valley that has a drive thru! LMAO... went there once...
every krispy kreme i've ever gone to has had a drive thru. have you ever had their donuts when they're fresh off the line (hot)? oh my god they're fantastic.
Subway smells like crap. Food tastes good, but the smell of that place on the clothes the rest of the night isn't a good thing, especially if you're going out with friends. You don't want to be the smelly friend.
Oddly enough (or not), it was a philly that did me in. I was lucky enough to catch a stomach virus 48 hours after I got sick with this. Good times. OT: they always put A1 on it for me too. I'll miss it.
I'm not sure what Subway you are talking about, but all of the Subway's I have gone too have smelled like freshly baked bread... which is a GOOD smell.
Pretty much every single Subway, everywhere. They all have the same smell of yes bread and also all the meats and sauces and all that crap. It isn't a horrible smell, but it isn't pleasent or nice either.
For the locals in Fort Lauderdale... I miss Laspada's!!! Best subs ever. There is not substitute here in Williamsburg.... none
