Rumor: Miami UDFA signing I saw this posted on a few web boards. No respectable news websites. TE Jared Bronson (Central Washington) signed with the Dolphins
I was just about to post that. It is official according to here: http://www.nepatriotsdraft.com/2009/04/2009-undrafted-free-agent-signings-list.html
Dolphins | M. Lewis agrees to terms Comment (0) Sun, 26 Apr 2009 18:27:27 -0700 The Miami Dolphins have agreed to terms with undrafted rookie free-agent OG Mark Lewis (Oregon). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
That's not a surprise after Crunch's bird telling us he was in for a visit. IMO, the skills needed to be a shot putter or discus thrower in track, translate well to playing OL. Often being good at one can help the other. Kind of like wrestling. Good to see OL who wrestled before too.
NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!! J/k. I'm glad for him. Edit: While we're on the subject, what does the Raiders ILB situation look like?
Kirk Morrison is a pretty underrated MLB in the league, but I wouldn't put it past Frantz to hold onto a roster spot.
They play a 4-3 and their starter is pretty good. Kirk Morrison. His backup is Isaiah Ekejiuba, a street free agent from 2005. Their overall LB numbers before the draft was only 5.
Jeff Darlington, of the Miami Herald, reports the Miami Dolphins have signed undrafted free-agent DE Ryan Baker (Purdue). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Bro I am not sure if it was us or Buffalo. You will see why right here: Dolphins | Martin signed Comment (1) Sun, 26 Apr 2009 19:34:06 -0700 The Buffalo Bills have signed undrafted free-agent DE/LB Orion Martin (Virginia Tech). Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
KFFL corrected their blurb - its the Dolphins that signed Orion Martin, not the Bills. On a similar note, If I ever have another son, Id like to name him Orion.
http://www.kffl.com/player/20847/nfl DAMN! I don't like to see that. There were alot of people on Sirius, and by people i dont mean callers, that were saying an awful lot of big things about Hoyer. Im surprised he went undrafted. Im not too pleased about the pats getting him. Hell, im not too please about them getting anyone though really.
So far... TE Jared Bronson (Central Washington) OG Mark Lewis (Oregon) DE Ryan Baker (Purdue) DE/LB Orion Martin (Virginia Tech) __________________
I know he his - underrated in the sense that all you ever hear about is Ray Lewis, Urlacher, Lofa Tatupu, Jerod Mayo, etc. If Morrison were on a team other than Oakland, everyone would know him.
Dolphins signed Chris WIlliams, WR, New Mexico State 5-7, 170 pounds, ran a 4.24 and a 4.34 40 with a 39 inch vertical. This year Davone Bess....?
