This has me so effin depressed. I've been going to "Music Row" since the late 70's. That street was legend for musicians the world over. I can't even begin to tell you how many famous musicians I met walking in and out of those stores...ESPECIALLY Manny's. This REALLY ef's me up.
Can't say I've ever been there but as a fellow musician I feel your pain Pagan. On an aside my friend has met Richie Havens, says he's a pretty cool guy "has big hands". What's next, CBGBs?
