All of this talk about ceral reminds me of a funny incident I had when I was a teenager. I was about 15 and was in my room using recreational herbage, when one of my siblings told me it was time for dinner. I staggered out to the kitchen/dining room and there layed a spread of food my mom prepared that would make fat people envious. It was some sort of roast with all of the fixins' (my mom loved to cook). I for some reason bypassed all of that and walked over to the cupboard, got me a big ol' bowl, grabbed what I thought were a bag of ceral (we all know the cheap stuff comes in bags), walked to the fridge and grabbed the milk, then proceeded to fix me a bowl of ceral. I was wondering why my family was just staring at me as I was about to enjoy my feast. As I ate bite after bite my family did not say a word or asked a question as to why I was doing, what I was doing. I don't think it was because of all the work my mom put into this dinner. As I later found out that bag of cheap ceral I had grabbed was actually a bag of Cool Ranch Doritos, that I finished, and my enjoyment of my "ceral" was the reason for all of the silence at the dinner table. The next day I went to our Dr. and tests confirmed what my parents suspected. Long story short-Cool Ranch Doritos used as a ceral, eaten' while high puts CTC to shame any day!
We all know it never mattered what the hell the cereal tasted like, it all came down to who had the best toys. I mean whatthe hell ever happened to a Wacky Wall Climber? Those were the ****!!!! Toys today suck, there all safe and politically correct, what ever happened to the LSD tatoos in Cracker Jacks cause their prizes suck too.
Well at least you didn't recruit your sister and her Easy Bake Oven into an illegal brownie sweatshop for you and your stoned friends, that's when you know you have a problem.
I believe that is mentioned in 'Lost Paradise'. God told Adam and Eve it was the only thing they couldnt have... dont think I need to tell you what happened next.
Good call Reeses Puffs are the superior sugary cereal This is what I should be eating and when I'm feeling healthy it's the cereal of choice. It just gets soggy too fast and the banana has to be ripe nothing worse than a green banana. That's the way to think outside the box.
Late 80's early 90's had Teenage Ninja Mutant Cereal, it was essentially frosted rice checks with marshmallows. It was better than sex with my mom.
Pro Tip: Don't eat CTC three nights in a row before bed. I woke up last night with the sweats and bad case of heartburn. And before you ask it No, I don't consider that a side effect of my recreational drug use or affinity for fried cheese. Thanks.
OW hurts my mouth just thinking about those razor blade circles. CTC is good but gets soggy to quick.
CTC is definitely right at the top, with Lucky Charms. But I usually cycle between those 2 and Rice Krispies and Frosted Flakes. But the 2 latter ones are certainly a step lower
Rice Krispie treats are easily made out of both Fruity Pebbles and Cocoa Pebbles, both are top notch! As for cereals by themselves, still gotta love the Crunchberries and PB crunch, yum! Also, the now seasonal BooBerry is pretty solid. I like things like CTC but it goes soggy way to fast, forcing you to either rip through a bowl in record time or have very small bowls.
Damn guys, I'm a bit baked and 5 seconds away from rushing to the store before it closes to buy some kids cereal! STOP!!!!!
Anyone remember Smores cereal? Golden grams covered in chocolate with little marshmellows??? YYYYYYUUUUUUUUUMMMMMMMMMMM!
I'm more of a healthy eater. I mix Mueslix / Grape Nuts together, and add sugar.... IN TUNA WE TRUST....
If I had to go with a kids' cereal, it would be Lucky Charms... My kids prefer to eat just the marshmallows, but I just can't do that... Frosted Mini Wheats are my choice of overall best cereal.
I have to admit I do walk further to go eat at the cafeteria on my campus that consistently serves cinnamon toast crunch. It is the best cereal, followed by reese's puffs and frosties.
Ive been killing some frosted mini wheats lately....I usally perfer the same cereal for a couple months then begin to crave a different kind. Sort like with women.
