Hello My name is Ben and I have been addicted to the Dolphins for 19 years. Lets see heres a little about my self Ah. Well... I attended Juilliard... I'm a graduate of the Harvard business school. I travel quite extensively. I lived through the Black Plague and had a pretty good time during that. I've seen the EXORCIST ABOUT A HUNDRED AND SIXTY-SEVEN TIMES, AND IT KEEPS GETTING FUNNIER EVERY SINGLE TIME I SEE IT......

I started listening to sports talk but also got bored when they talked about crap I didnt care about like basketball. So now I listen to political talk radio whether I agree with every thing or not it keeps my attention.
Hey all, welcome everybody! Long time FH lurker here - been a dolphin fan probably all 42 years of my life, born into a dolphin fan family Grew up in Fort Lauderdale, moved to Cali after attending college at UM and then Nova, married with 2 kids and a dog. My wife is disabled with lupus/fibromyalgae/rheumatoid arthritis and a host of related illnesses. Love music (progressive/metal), have been playing guitar for like 27 years, am a java programmer currently seeking a job... FH has been a great escape for me, even tho I rarely post I feel like I know a lot of you thru your posts and personalities that come thru. Thanks to all of you for your contributions however big or small to making FH so great, with all of you here I am sure this place will be even better Paul
Ooo. Political talks bore the crap out of me. Thats interesting though lol, I have never heard of someone who did that. I always thought if you get bored of the radio, you plug in your IPod and wahlaa ( dont know how to spell it).
If my wifes in the car she cant stand talk radio so we will just drive with the radio off cause I dont like any kind of music. Its kinda nice it being quite esp. when we make the hour and a half drive to her parents.
Thanks I think I remember learning about this in history class but I dont pay attention much in there so I cant say for sure.
Not far from W. Memphis just outside Jonesboro in Bay. My dad and all my uncles grew up in Texas so the Longhorns are what I grew up with.
by some peoples logic i should be a patriot fan grew up in new england with a house full of patriot fans and i turn out a dolphins fan go figure, it happens just like the arkansas/longhorn thing weird stuff happens lol
I know where that is! My mothers family is from Bay!! Small world, ain't it? My grandmother used to work in the school cafeteria as the dietician and my grandfather drove a bus for years there. That was all back in the 50's and early 60's. The family name is Neyman, Herbert and Lina. You may be able to find some older folks that will remember them or some of my aunts and uncles. Pretty nice small town to raise a family in, I just haven't been back there in over 30 years, though. Good hearing from folks from back home though!!
well, there's nothing logical about following your heart... I'm pretty sure I would have been a Fins fan regardless, it was not forced on me by any means... The last few seasons my wife has seen my (our) pain and suggested I find a new team - lol she just doesn't get it...
You got that right. My favorite soccer (fussball) team is the 1FC Kaiserslautern in Germany, where my ex-wife is from. I used to watch the old TV show "Flipper" when I was a kid and thought they were cool. Then Joe Robbie gets an expansion franchise and says they'll be the Dolphins, just follow the logic from a 13 year olds perspective! I've been with 'em since and won't quit 'til they burn me when I'm dead!! One thing I am is loyal, 'til I get dumped on , then the feud is ON! lol! (Like me and the ex!!!)
i never got into soccer i do watch it when the world cup happens but thats about it i love playing it i played for about 4 years from about 13-17 then i played football on the oline i was in the trenches until i blew my right knee out
To everyone that doesnt yet know me on a first name basis: Matt. Boik is my abbreviated nickname, short for my last name. Dolphin fan since I was 7 which puts it at 22 years. First started posting on ESPN about 8 or 9 years ago, and came over to FH in 2004. Have made many friends along the way and I feel like that has made it fufilling as much as anything for me. Love the Mets, Phins, Islanders, and Knicks....Mets and Phins first and foremost though. Love music, writing, reading, Madden Football and NHL Hockey (have each game since their series started in 92 on sega ).
My name is Paul. I live in Hilo, HI with 2 boys and another on the way in October. Dolphins fan for 38 yrs. Why? Cause the palms trees reminded me of Hawaii. LOL...
