We all know one of the best memories of this past season was seeing Camarillo score that 64 yard touchdown. Aside from that memory, What was your best memory? Mines was seeing Ronnie run over B.J. Ward.
One of my favorite dolphin memories was Super bowl 42, Giants score on a game winning drive to secure the 72 Dolphins from having the only perfect season
That must have been an awesome experience. I unfortunately have never been able to see a real live NFL game.
Watching Ted Ginn make his 3 run backs for TD's even though 2 were called back. That really got my juices flowing.
The Monday Nighter when Marino single handedly dismantled "Da Bears"!!! My mom wanted me to go to bed and miss the game because I had school the next day and my dad, who is the reason I am a Dolphin fan, stepped up and let me watch the whole game and stay home from school the next day. What a great memory, Thanks Dad!!!!!
Can't remember the game, year or oponent to be honest but OJ McDuffie was fair catching a punt and the "gunner" was bearing down on him - saw OJ call the fair catch and looked away - then OJ just levelled him!! Also Bua (sp?) taking out 2 Rams on a punt return! I love the big hits!
I agree... That was the best I have felt in a few years.... I wish I could remember something from this past season, but I try and forget as much as I can from the losses (since I tend to take them too personal or so says my wife). If I had to pick though, I'd choose Ginns returns (the ones called back)...although they were called back, but they were exciting nonetheless.
I was lucky enough to have an awesome big brother who took me to a lot of Fins games - the 2 most memorable being the muck bowl were A.J. Duhe went nuts on the jets and I think I saw some guy taking a dump in one of the sinks at the Orange Bowl, lol... The other was the Monday nighter against the Bears... Danny was just awesome... From this last season I would have to agree with jt0323... what with Favre grabbing a bunch of Danny's records, and our dismal year, it would have really sucked to have the Pats eclipse our Perfect Season... Paul
one of my favorite memories from this past year was seeing ginn catch his first td against the giants another one of my favorite memories was the fake spike against the jets i was like 6 or 7 at the time but man that memory stays also the dolphins/cowboys where lett slid and kicked the ball in the endzone
January, 1973--- Greise was awesome that day!!! Superbowl win #1!!!! Next to my daughter being born, nothing better!!
My best Fins memories are: 1) the 85 game against the Bears...I was working in a warehouse with a couple big time Bears fans, and all day that Monday they'd been telling me how badly the Bears were going to beat the Fins. I had just shook my head and said "I dunno guys, the Fins are a good team, it's going to be pretty hard for the Bears to shut down Marino all night long." Needless to say, the next day I was gloating extensively. 2) the 98 game against the Broncos, Marino's last go-round with Elway, also on Monday night. I got to attend that game and it was a ball. Like a playoff game in intensity and Marino had an incredible game. 3)the 2000 playoff against the Colts. I was at this game too, and when Smith went in for the TD in overtime, the place exploded. People I didn't know were hugging and kissing each other, crying...it was just awesome.
i have three specific things... - the fake spike play against the jets, classic... just classic. - the undefeated season of course. i wasnt alive for it, but come on, its fantastic. and the fact that the giants beat the pats this year to keep us as the ONLY undefeated team was just priceless... and then... - the dolphins vs lions, on thanksgiving day in detroit. my first time seeing our dolphins in live action. the return of none other than joey harrington to detroit, the city that worshiped him, then ran him out of town even though their team couldnt have done any better no matter who was at QB... but just being there, our dolphins pulling out the win, joey having a great game, which gave me even more things to be happy for, especially being in detroit, in my marino jersey. I was shocked how many other fins fans were there, and i made sure to recognize and high five all of them. it was just an amazing time. i wish they played the lions more often so i could see them more often. i paid a fortune for the tickets from stubhub... but i was at about the 30 yard line, 12 or 15 rows up along the miami sideline... it was just perfect! *edit* ... and i forgot remember... shutting out the patriots 21-0 last season!!!
Ginns first return for a score here in Philly. That was fab. Couldn't have occured in a "nicer" city! And of course the TD catch and the final score of the superbowl. The 99 foot statue of JT in London was nice too!
Wow you really hate philly. And yes we all know what you were thinking when you saw the statue. Pervert.....
Just Philly sports fans, esp ShEagles fans... I only said "aloud" what hundreds of thousands of women all over the world were thinking!
your hate and comments of philly crack me up. my bro went to grad school at UPenn and my mother hated the idea of him living there
My best memory is when Ronnie Brown just runs over people like when Ronnie Brown ran over every body in the Radiers game and evey other game. I also enjoyed watching Jaso Taylor win the DPOY award in 2006 and the monster year he had.
Another favorite moment is when Jim Bates was our coach during the 4-12 season and we bet the Patriots by a point. I also love every other time we bet the Patriots. One other favorite moment was when we came back agiant the Redskins when we were down by 20 points and I think it was the first time we had our orange jerseys on.
Too many memories over the years but this past season was the Giants win over the patsies,it may as well been the Phins in the SB with the way I was acting in the 4th quarter.Thank you Eli!!
mornin' sweety.. good to see ya!.. I was wearing my Trenary Outhouse Race shirt yesterday, and thought of you.
Ahhhh the races were good again this year and it was a beauty day for Upper Mich.I'm about ready to burn a couple of cds,I think I'll burn them both and that way I don't screw this up and it's no problem. it's 8 below freakin zero right now, wahhhhhhhhhhhh
Lord have mercy is right,it will warm up quick now that it's late in the year but we've had a pretty tough winter and it could just lay off a little. Glad to make Nubs happy,he made me happy as I watched those cds again yesterday, great job for a gal on dialup, remember that was the initial problem.OK,I gotta close all my browsers, the cd burner likes it that way.Have a nice day dear!!
The feeling I had on the metro ride to the Redskins vs. Dolphins game at the beginning of the season knowing a season of Dolphin football was ahead of me. Ignorance was bliss!
good call! this was a memorable day , was watching with some pats fans and nothing couldve possibly been better i will never forget the looks on their faces.i knew them from work and had to hear it all year and i hate those kind of people that talk so much trash and only became fans 5years ago.they knew nothing and justice was served and it was a glorious day.the sage/chambers comeback against buffalo was also great.
