So yeah I just learned of this about 5 mins ago. It all started when I was playing basketball on the cruise I went on. I brought 2 pairs of Basketball shoes 1 pair was in my size the other was a 1/2 size too big. So I lace up the shoes that fit me and head on up to the sports deck. Now I noticed right away they were tight perhaps too tight then again I'm use to having room in my feet from the other pair I wear. So I shoot around for a good 20-30 mins until I say F it these shoes are to uncomfortable. The damage was done though. While I was playing I had a Tearing/Ripping sensation in my arch. Now these shoes were hugged on to me very tightly leaving the outline of the plastic brace on my sock on to my skin. I have a High Arch so neither pair really support that and ever since then anytime I run, jump, things you do in basketball I get that sensation. So to stop this sensation I got Dr. Scholls*sp(?) Arch support insoles a few days ago thinking its because the shoe is a bit to big for me and isn't supporting my feet. Sadly it didn't work while playing basketball. Now I wanted to learn what was the deal with my right foot and after some research Ive come to this conclusion my question is what do I do about it? See the shoe that cause this problem was come to find out a wee to tight so it kind of scrunched my foot pushing my arch further up well thats what I think anyways. Any ideas on how to deal with this? btw I have it in both feet its just the right foot is more severe than the left.
Id go get diagnosed from a doctor. I dont question your medical skills, but maybe it is just a shoe issue and the dr can get you some better insoles. If nothing else he'd have better treatment options for your situation then WebMD
This place should have the answers you need. http://www.goodfeet.com/ http://www.goodfeet.com/ask-q3.html
I agree with Don. Check around locally for a good podiatrist and let him get a diagnosis. They can recommend specific courses of action to help, or get you hooked up with special insoles. Cost may be a factor if your talking custom stuff though, but if youve got the money it could well be worth it to make you feet feel better. Good luck man!
Well I'm going out tomorrow and I'm going to look for some new shoes. Hmm it seems the pain I got is more center of my foot than at my heel.
Does it feel like splinters under the arch of your feet? I had that as a child, I now have flat feet.
Not sure. It felt like a fresh wound that barely closed itself up then reopening it up. Feels like a tearing sensation.
