yea the only player i have ever done that with is Ronnie Brown i would probly do it with him and Fred Davis as well
I like the addition of Davis as well, god knows we need a legitimate threat and consistency at the TE position, but I think our FO may go in a different direction with our first 2nd rounder and will address TE later on.
love when people do those, but I'm not a fan of Jay Lehman n the 2nd (and I like Lehman). Also, as much as I love and want Fred Davis on the team, I don't like the pick of him at 32/33 especially if we pass on Chris Williams for him. same message board has a 7 round mock, here's our picks Glenn Dorsey DT, LSU Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie CB, Tenn State Shawn Crable LB, Michigan John Greco OT, Toledo Colt Brennan QB Hawaii Mike Gibson OG, California Jaimie Silva S, Boston College aside from the Gibson pick (much better players available after him) that's a pretty good draft. Might've gone a different direction than Greco but he's a very good prospect, and there are some very good prospects available alongside Brennan, but that would be an awesome draft. http://www.footballsfuture.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=191637
yea thats the only thing i really dont like about him is his arm Strength but if he starts working out and gains mustle then he might be ok alot of people dont like the side arm throw also but that doesnt Bother me at all
I’m all for picking up Anthony Morelli, Kevin O'Connell or Brad Roach either round seven or whoever goes undrafted. All three have good prospects if they could get through a pro camp to be a project/practice squad future player. I really don’t want to use a pick on any quarterback.
The guy did a nice job, except that he made 8 major # mistakes in reguards to retired numbers The errors: Pick #15 Talib given Detroit #22, which was retired 50 years ago for Bobby Layne Pick #16 Baker given Cardinal #77 that had been retired for Stan Maudlin a player who died in the locker room 60 years ago Pick #23 Otah given Steeler #70, the only retired # of the team for Earnie Stautner Pick #26 Rivers given Giants #50, retired for 1930's star tailback/kicker Ken Strong Pick #36 Thomas given KC #28 retired for the team's initial tailback Abner Hayes Pick #47 Mayo given Bengal #54 retired for team's orginal top pick center Bob Johnson Pick #51 Blake given Cardinal #99 retired for 1940's star tailback Marshall Goldberg Pick #57 Hefney given Giants #32 retired for WWII casulty Al Blozis.(ironicly Tennessee also has #32 retired for a WWII casulty) Also as long as Vonnie Holiday is on the team, Chris Long won't wear #91. #75 makes more sense. Also this guy does list the top 2 guys that I would pick
We really need an ILB, that is not addressed in the draft he has. I think that instead of Crable I would lean toward Mayo. Other than that, draft is not too bad (Brennan may be early, we'll have to see).
