CHICAGO - Paul Harvey, the news commentator and talk-radio pioneer whose staccato style made him one of the nation's most familiar voices, died Saturday in Arizona, according to ABC Radio Networks. He was 90. Harvey died surrounded by family at a hospital in Phoenix, where he had a winter home, said Louis Adams, a spokesman for ABC Radio Networks, where Harvey worked for more than 50 years. No cause of death was immediately available. "And now you know the rest of the story"... I listened to Paul Harvey on many a lunch break. http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/29447376?GT1=43001 [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S6Ix56RtLNM&feature=related"]YouTube - The Rest of the Story[/ame]
Wow, that is one that will NEVER be replaced. Seriously, this guy is right up there with John Wayne for me folks... RIP Mr Harvey. Thanks for the incredible insight, intriguing monolouge and non-stop chuckles.... God has a nice spot waiting for you
just heard this... sad, but he lived a long and prosperous life. there will not be another quite like him. RIP
Yeah he does. Not as good as his father is, but there are not very many who are on Paul Harveys level.
I have listened to this guy for years and its definitely sad to hear. He had a voice that just sticks with you and as others have said he can never be replaced.
One the greats of all time. I didn't always agree with some of his views, but he often did bring a smile to your face. He always had the story of the little guy beating the system and those I enjoyed the most. RIP Mr Harvey, thanks for the memories.
I was being honest, wasn't trying to be callous. It was news to me. I thought he died a few years ago.
Brother, knowing what I know about you, I am certain that you are being sincere but, brother, Google is your friend. Research is the core of science. Use it.
