Did Kyle Eckel serve any time? He's the most recent one I can think of. And Koy Detmer was at Air Force right?

 

well considering as you said he has been on this team for his third season and he just picked it up midway thats 8 games of this year played..that to me is a bit late...even for this season.

considering he was a first day pick he shouldve picked it up his first year..the gm in me doesn't like waiting a good three or 4 yrs to find out if the number one pick we threw a ton of money at is gonna pan out. while i agree he has stepped up his game i still would like to bring in some real competition.
i don't like the fact that he didn't start watching film till midway through the season when his role on this team had him making mistakes on st to possibly being cut at the end of the season.
that reminds me of something i read about parcells saying how he didn't want(this is not exact quote) half a$$er and the guy's that all of a sudden step it up when their job is on the line or a new coach comes in.
