I think thats plan A, but I think if a guy like Eric Woods or Antoine Caldwell is there at 2b or 3 we will look very hard. Im all for giving Satele another shot, especially if Smiley and Thomas are back at full strength.
Satele's problem is line calls and that labrum will take time to heal and may keep him from hitting the strength program as much as he should. And I like both Woods and Caldwell, Woods was throwing Jeri around like a ragdoll at the Senior Bowl.
With the 25th overall pick the Miami Dolphins select C Alex Mack from Cal. Just a hunch after how this all played out during FA. I would not mind that selection, and I think that the FO wants the Oline soild so we can establish our run game that we lacked last year. Satele had good games against Wilfork and Jenkins towards the end of the season, he showed improvement IMO. I think we'd be stupid not to stick with him.
I really really hope Donald Thomas can come back and be a monster for us, that would be absolutely great for this team. We never used to catch breaks like that, lets hope our luck can keep moving away from the Wanny era and into the Sparano era. Our OL really was hit hard by injuries last year, lets all hope they are recovering just fine and can make it through this season.
