I just wanted you guys thought about him. One of things I observed about him, he is very patient in the pocket and doesn't panic. He is the back-up QB for the skins.. What yall think? http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/players/profile?playerId=0735
Cause hes a vet...Hes a decent back-up i guess but mnothing more. I wouldnt get excited if we signed him as a back-up. This year was just a fluke for him.
Good backup but nothing more. He was throwing balls to Santana Moss as if Moss was 6'3 (which does underline a key reason why I feel their passing game faltered a bit).
Any UFA QB, not a RFA, and especially not one under a current contract which would require picks to be traded, is qualified to be our backup clipboard holding QB. So lets start there.
Ha, thought you were talking about Brian Griese, was about to get all up in arms... Got my threads confused.. haha
But he has a family to feed also, as for Trent Green I was not to pick about his age the issue was about his concussion history.
IMO he would be a good veteran to start or backup up if Beck is not the starter. He would buy Beck time to cotinue to grow. Keep in mind Green may be back.
Well one must remember that Collins would probably not instantly turn into a dribbling vegetable upon his next hit. Green on the other hand might not make vegetable level.
Yes I recommend you use that line at your next job interview I bet you a bottle nose dolphin you will the get the job.
