Tomorrow is a Warehouse Manager 73 miles away up north. Friday is an assistant operations manager a 1/2 mile where I used to work. Tomorrow's job I believe pays double then the one on Friday does, but has a 150 miles a day travel.

Thanks brothers! I have done this before for 1 year here and 1 year there. I got a couple of tickets where the speed limit goes from 55 to 65 miles an hour in the same spot. So if I get the job tomorrow I will have to invest in a top of the line radar detector, because that is a serious speed trap.

I am staying real positive about this. If I can land this job, my wife can cut back to only working two days a week, and spend more time with her dad whose Alzheimer's is getting worse, and can not drive at the age of 61.

I return the favor to 124. I have been on JetNation and Gang Green, and have gotten smack from some of the Jet Fans who didn't know me at all. There have been some really great Jet Fans that have come to my defense, and said that I was class.

the one detail sick does not like about 124 is that 124 was a body double in tommy boy for chris farley.

 

one minor detail - he murdered a few cab drivers in ny......but he got cleared due to being psychotic

 

There are some a-hole fans on JN, that is for sure, but I am always there to back you when they come guns blazing. You just ignore the idiots and move on to intelligent conversation with the likes of me and the other Jet fans who can stand a fan from a rival team. We actually have a couple of mega-cool Patriot fans who 90% of the board respects, but you always have some a-holes who can't stand opposing fans and their views at all.

ThePhins has taken me very well and I was happy to come here when you invited me over John.

 

The staff is very cool. I have talked with Phil aka Max, and Frank aka Faba, but they been very good to me.

 

Phil and Frank are both friends of mine off the board, they are good people. If you ever make it out for a Jets/Phins game we will treat you like royalty. We have two awesome tailgates within 100 feet from each other, and its about 60-80 people each week with TONS of food and drinks. Great times.

 

I actually work (well, it's supposed to be paid anyways) at an Alzheimer's lab here that studies the effects of curcumin (stuff you find in yellow curry) and macrophage activity on AD. Some promising results so far but lack of funding hurts and I've been sparsely in lab due to lack of experiments we can run that don't require an MD. Haven't fully fleshed out our hypotheses outside of the lab but I can suggest your father-in-law try to eat yellow curry often. It's what I recommended to my uncle and subjectively, it looks to be working since his progression is slower than normal. Again, we haven't scientifically verified it but it couldn't hurt.

Brother John, I know what you are going through. I am my mothers full-time caretaker. She is 78 and has to use a walker and has alzheimer symtoms (she already takes Aricept to help prevent the loss of more mental capacity).

Keep your chin up John, good things will happen for ya.
