i watch it for the cliff hangers, drama, the mix of comedy, and amazing writing and golden globe worthy acting....

i dont think its "under rated" but i love nip/tuck.....that show is the balls....new episode tonight looks awesome

 

My wife has me watching 'Big Love'.

As a drama show it really isnt that bad.

She knew I'd watch it with her since it has 'Hudson' from Aliens in it.

Probably my favorite show on tv currently, I honestly don't see it as underrated though, especially after only one season it has a huge fan base.

 

I am still a fan but I think it has lost something...seems like they are trying too hard now and their edge has just become uncomfortable (like the 'stank *****' video).

Also my nomination goes to a show on IFC called "Z Rock" basically a comedy about a bunch of guys in a band that are forced to play kids shows to get by. Sounds weird I know but a good show.

also a great show is Weeds. I've only just started watching it (season 1) but it's really good. the only reason it could be 'unknown' though is because it's on showtime. it's certainly not underrated as it has won plenty of awards i think.

 

I have to agree with the "How I Met Your Mother" crowd. Barney Stinson is the man, lol.

Married with Children was underrated? I thought it was one of the more popular sitcoms on TV at the time.

 

Put me in with the How I Met Your Mother crowd.

The show is hysterical. It has that family guy feel with all the flashbacks only in real life.

I can't even begin to describe the **** I got when I told people what a good show it was. Oh well. Their loss.

 

alot of good choices so far... i will throw "Friday Night Lights" into the mix. season 2 came off the tracks a little, but the first season and the current season are both very good.

 

1. Friday Night Lights (Friday 9-10pm, NBC)
2. How I Met Your Mother (Monday 830-9pm, CBS)
3. Two And A Half Men (Monday 9-930pm, CBS)

Life on Mars has kind of an unusual twist on a cop show.A modern day cop finds himself in the 70s .The USA version is a remake of a succesful UK show.

 

i used to like the shield, then it got suuuuuuuuuuuuper stoopid. most of fx's shows start out good then get stupid.

No. Because, WTF? Why does he put his own name in front of everything he does? Who does that?

The greatest Directors of all time never put their damn names in front of the titles of their work.

You never saw "Stanley Kubrick's 2001: A Space Odyssey...or Francis Ford Coppola's The Godfather.

Mad Men is the most underrated show on TV, its a damn shame a season is only 12 episodes long
