    "...ability to get in the backfield quickly -- would help a secondary that needs all the aid possible."

    ..so true. ;)

    "The biggest drawback to picking up Peppers would be his price tag."

    Exactly!..which is why my vote would be a big NO to the Peppers. :D

    "there is the distinct possibility that the Panthers will place the dreaded franchise tag on him, forcing teams to trade two first-rounders for him."

    .LOL!!! That would end the discussion, IMO.

    , "it would say that the Dolphins will pass the Peppers and find another dish that’s more affordable."

    Agree. ;)

    Im not sure about him tbh. His attitude reeks of a "me first, my stats are all that matter, pay me" type of guy. Im not sure he fits the mold of player personality BP and Ireland and Tony are going for.
    And frankly I find it hard to think the cats wont slap the tag on him.

    If they don't franchise him, I hope we back the Brinks truck up in front of his house.

    Totally agree. If he hits the open market and has any interest in playing here, then we should do everything in our power to get him. The guy is a stud, and only 29, meaning he could play for us for 5-7 years, easily.

    Peppers and Porter would be a great combo for sure, one which I would love to see.

    I have questions about his passion but i think the challenge of converting to linebacker is the perfect antedote for him...You challenge a player with that kind of skill you usually come out with something very explosive.

    If he's a free agent, then pass me some roasted peppers.....{they stole my line.}

    my only problem is what if Cameron Wake is a stud? Peppers would be an amazing pickup though. His speed would allow him to cover the TEs and cover the outside runs better than Roth.

    The more the merrier. ;) You can't have enough good LBs, IMO, and if he turns out to be a stud, then he could eventually replace Porter and we would still have a nasty combo at the LB position.

    Is Peppers like the Leon commercial? By that is all about him, and not the team? We are setting up a great team atmosphere here, and yes he has skills, but does he fit into what we are building?

    Peppers would be amazing to have in a 3-4. The guy is scary athletic and would cause problems all over the field
