Who do you guys think are absolute locks to be on the team next year?

Here's who I figure you can pencil in:

    Offense
    Ginn
    Beck
    Satele
    Carey
    R.Brown
    L.Booker
    R.Mauia

    Defense
    R.Wright
    Crowder
    Porter
    W.Allen
    J.Allen
    Q.Moses
    M.Roth
    P.Soliai
    V.Holliday

    Specialists
    Feely
    Fields
    Denney

I think it is about 50/50 that we do something with JT and ZT this year. I'd love for them to retire Phins....and maybe Zach does this year.

Chatman was a close call....but the slim possibility that they keep Ricky around or draft someone high gave me enough doubt to leave him off.

Yah as long as the Ricky question is in the air Chatman is a FA and he will go elsewhere.

I think your list is very accurate. Maybe Rex Hadnot too?

    EDIT: Definately Ronnie Brown too.

I don't know if Zach Thomas will or even should play again. He's still got the ability but the NFLPA is garbage and head injuries are nothing to mess around with.

Carabinier, it's the same team we have now without injuries! Are you saying we are 0-12 because guys got hurt, or are you implying we need a new coach?

When they drafted Lorenzo Booker I wondered where the pick was coming from. Forever, the number 3 back on the Miami Dolphins played special teams. Everyone has been wondering why Lorenzo Booker has been inactive all year. He's not playing on special teams. Leon Washington is on the Jets special teams.

I think Cam/Mueller's wants got crossed up with this teams needs when they picked Booker. The point that I am making is Cobbs and Chatman are gone unless they trade or release Ricky Williams. There is no choice on the matter.

I believe the team we have right now would have a few wins with a different coach.

at the time we had no running backs though... Ricky was nothing you could rely on, and Chatman was just coming back from 2 years out of the league, and Cobbs was a question mark... there was nothing stable behind Ronnie... it ended up that Chatman was playing well and Cobbs was a big surprise, thats whats hindered Booker from playing... but in April after we lost morris and minor we really had nothing at the RB spot...

I don't know about that. I can't see them letting Chatman go. I think Booker will be kept probably as a RB/WR letting the Dolphins only keep 4 WR's. Cobbs would most likely be gone though.

I still think that Chatman has a very good chance to be here next year.....but I really don't see that happening if A) they keep Ricky Williams (I put that at about 20%) or B) Draft McFadden (10%).

I don't think they will draft McFadden, and I don't think Ricky will or should really have much impact on Chatman. Ricky has proven you can't count on him so giving up a good backup because you hope Ricky stays clean would be a mistake. You also don't know what you have in Ricky at 31. I think the Dolphins will keep Ronnie, Chatman, Ricky, and Booker. Booker allows the team to only keep 4 WR's because of his ability to play receiver.

I listed very low chances that we either keep Ricky or draft McFadden.......so I don't think that we will either. But there is a chance that either of those things happen, and that either could lead to Chatman's exit.

Not so sure about the whole Booker at WR thing either?? I know that they toyed with him there on the scout team...but haven't heard that there was much more to it than that. I really hope that we go into next year with at least 4 legitimate NFL receivers (as I see it we only have 3 now, with Camarillo being a ST player with a receiver's number).
