while its definitely tougher, i would say Jameer is probably your 4th best player overall. I'll admit i don't know anything about whoever the Magic's back-up PG is so if hes horrible then it gonna be difficult.
steve blake to orlando. he can spot up and shoot 3's all day, perfect for what you guys seem to want in players around dwight.
Damn That's a headache we didn't need. Losing to Cuban's Mavs is bad enough. Not much we can do but keep going and see what happens! Hopefully Nelson won't be missed against the 10 win Clippers on Wed night.
Instant karma is gonna get ya........ I think I rest my case? You should have never started that "heat suck" crap. Can we catch ya? 2 years ago, we were 9 games back at this time and won the division by 3. we are now 10 games back. one thing is for sure though...we have the 5th seed now...if you drop to the 4th seed, this is gonna be a fun forum.
you mean that they cheer for their team but deep down inside they know somehow, someway that the team is going to stab them in the heart?
The Magic have a good team, and the Heat have a good team. It'll be interesting to see how the rest of the season plays out. It's a good state rivalry, and I hope both teams do well enough to have a great playoff run against each other. And whether I get 'stabbed in the heart' or not, I still love the Magic.
Lol, yeah man, but I gotta stick with my team. That's what we all do, that's why we're all still Dolphins fans after the last 10 years of b.s. We stuck it out and had a great season last year.
72-48 Magic at the half. Clippers aren't having a good season, but without Nelson in the mix, every win helps. Hopefully we'll stay this far ahead the rest of the game.
Magic win 125-96, nice job by Anthony Johnson filling in for Nelson, which may be for a long time to come.
We traded Kieth Bogans for Tyronne Lue. kinda pisses me off, cuz i like Bogans but he really had no spot here with Lee lighting the world on fire and playing great defense. on the other hand, Lue plays good defense and can pop a 3 to. hes just not a very good ball handler and decision maker IMO. i wish we would have gotten someone else. but oh well.
So, I dont know **** about Lue... What can we expect from him? Will he be depth at PG? Or will he start for us?
you should know something about him, he started for us about 5 years ago. we can expect good 3 shooting and solid defense. other then that, not much else. hes not the best decision maker with the ball in his hands. anthony johnson isnt great, but i dont see Lue being much of an upgrade.
Ya I know... but I wasnt really into basketball (or even football) that much back then. I didnt really start following sports (always played them) w/ much intent until I got to college... about 5-6 years ago.
Ugh, we lost 107-102. Didn't get to see the game, but now I'm glad I didn't. I'm hoping things go better against the Nets on Sunday. We've got to get over the loss of Nelson and keep going.
Denver wins 82-73 It's been 17 years since Denver won in O'town. We're 38-13 now, still an amazing record. I'm not sure whether the 5 days off until the Charlotte game is good or bad. Good to get better as a team playing without Nelson, or bad for going that long without a game.
Whew, that game was too close. 107-102 Orlando win over the Charlotte Bobcats in OT. Wasn't on where I'm at, but I saw the highlights on ESPN. Thank God for Howard's 45 points and Redick's 3 pointer at the end of regulation. In New Orleans tomorrow night, who aren't doing too bad with 30 wins, then it's on to Charlotte for a rematch on Friday night.
OMG!!! Figures I turned off the game... Dwight Howard: 45pts - 19rebs - 8blks Almost had a triple double!
Magic acquiring "Skip to my Lou" should be interesting. Yeah, it does suck having to give up a 1st round pick but Alston has both the ability to slash between defenders & hit some 3 point shots that our offense seems to set up so frequently for our PG. Hes averaging over 5 assists/game & shooting the 3 around 35% this year. With this move, I do feel a lot better about our chances. Johnson/Lue PG tandem was depressing, and I honestly didn't see us getting someone of even this caliber with how little time was left for Otis to work out a deal. So are we going to carry 3 PGs then?
