They came out trying to shoot 3s... which is not how we do things. Get Dwight going down low... then defenders start to cheat towards the middle to help on Dwight... and we get open 3s and light them up. Dwight comes first... then the 3s...
i agree. the desperate 3 point shots in the first half were a mistake. they were forcing shots that werent there. even when they got in the paint, they shied away from layups and easy dunks. credit to the Celts D.
One thing that is so clear, is that we need a 2/3 that can slash to the basket and create his own shot. We dont have that. We dont have a Wade/Kobe/Pierce/Bron/TMac/Roy/etc... Nelson is the closest to that... and he isnt enough. We dont have anyone on the team that can command the defenses attention other than Dwight...
