pretty sure camby is going to be gone. if they like this samb guy better than jordan, than i'd gladly let him develop on the bench here.
I actually like Jordan better but there's no reason they can't develop both since Jordan's D-League capable.
I can see moving Camby as well. Not sure why they'd do it for Q though. If it gives them young cheap talent, or cap space I can see it. Guess Q would give us the shooter/scorer that we need. But he'd also take minutes from Gordon or Thornton and I'd rather just give the young guys minutes.
Camby for Q is about as lopsided a trade as Camby for a 2nd rounder. Dumb move even if it does give them a scorer (though not necessarily a good one).

lol. its bs though, the LEAGUE appointed a doctor to evaulate his injury, not the BLAZERS doctors. it should be on the LEAGUE to pay him, not the BLAZERS. anyway we still have around 15 mill cap space this offseason.
I hope Darius put some Millions back, this is prob. the last shot he'll get in the NBA. Same w Sean Livingston, which sucks, I really liked that kid.
But of course, if that were true, there'd be no reason for the Blazers FO to be waving their litigation swords around.
Good for Memphis. I was hoping someone would do this. Sign him to a 10 day, play him the 2 game minimum, then release him 10 days later. Ruin Portland's cap situation for that crap. That email had to be the biggest ****ing joke in NBA history.
why? if someone is trying to screw portland, i would sue them too. screw them back. paul allen is one of the richest people in the world, his lawyers could probably win any case.
Screwing Portland by doing something that is completely legal by NBA standards. It's Portland's fault for acquiring Miles. It's immature to take legal action on a team for signing him to a 10-day contract. That is absurd. I really hope Memphis suits him up and releases him RIGHT AFTER the 10 days are up just so the idiot who wrote that email knows.. "yeah, they did it just because" If someone threatened me, I'd definitely find a way to hit that person where it hurts the most. Physically, mentally, or by signing a player who has nothing to offer to a 10-day contract and forcing your team into salary cap hell. Go Memphis!! You've amused the entire NBA community for this one.
Only thing they can do at this point. Now if they'll be so kind as to hand over the other Gasol. Memphis is like that scrawny little kid who takes the dare no one else will.
The whole thing is absurd. Its Portlands fault for saying his injury was "career ending" when apparently it was not. Miles is a waste, but if he plays he gets paid.
I remember back when everyone (myself included) would rock the #21 white Clippers authentic.. oversized with huge jeans and a Clippers fitted with a white du-rag underneath.
The Celtics are doing so bad that Larry Bird changed all his pictures so that it look like he is on the bulls.
Hehe, funny picture. And I agree about the Grizzlies. If someone pushes you, you push them back...with little to no remorse. Funny thing is, it probably doesn't happen unless Portland sends that e-mail out. They only have themselves to blame.
Keep in mind all 3 played together for the Dream Team I. No drama or selfishness here. They're all team players and true professionals.
I dont think so. That is what people thought with KG Pay Allen and The Truth but they won a championship. Plus I think Jordan would be willing to share the ball.
Neither do I. You lose a huge asset down low for 2 underachieving players in the middle of a playoff race.
Its like they are throwing in the towel for the season already. This is strictly a cap move for them.
They want to get rid of their defensive anchor? Really puzzling as it stands. Angling at a shot at Amare, Shaq, Brad Miller possibly?

Lol....lets give a pick away for a player we plan to cut...no wonder Sac is in the dumps. What happened to that franchise man? They use to be a solid team for along time. I can remember Webber, Vlade, Bibby, Richmond...
A bit of nostalgia but I didn't too much of it. If Shaq wants to return next year to retire as a Laker, I have no qualms if he's willing to be a backup and obey. I liked his turnaround in Phoenix and he ought have enough for 10-15 minutes a game left in the tank.
