I've had that for about 6 months and have maybe played about 10 hours on it.

But on the subject of the thread. I have to agree with keeping the 360. All the games you want are the same of both systems.

I really want to play Metroid for the Wii but that's the only game that catches my eye at the point. I have always like Nintendo except for the blunder they made with Sony which spawned the N64. It is obvious that Nintendo is hellbent on bringing gaming to a different gamer than the other consoles. That's good for them because it is selling their systems. However I am not spending $250 for a system for a couple of solid games.

I still agree that the 360 is the best "gaming" system available at this point. That's not to say Sony couldn't pull a rabbit outta of it's hat. MGS4 was a move in the right direction. The new GOW is another one to watch. If Sony starts piling on the exclusives that made the first 2 systems so great....then watch out!! They were just a little late out the gate and got behind. I thought I would never see an Ace Combat or Resident Evil title on a Xbox. This is where Sony is falling behind. PS2 owned, because of all the exclusive titles and in house games.

This is why I stand by my answer. Xbox 360 for now. PS3.....maybe later.

I cannot agree with this statement. I'd even go as far as calling it 'hogwash'

Not to mention why would you even compare an older model to the present one he'd purchase?

Can you even find a 360 without HDMI in stores anymore?

Regardless, I have had both systems and played them on my 60 inch SONY HDTV KDS-XBR1 and found that even with HDMI, the PS3 games look the same as the 360 on high quality component cables.

Later on, I got a 360 with HDMI and guess what? All looked just as good to me.

More than anything, it always depended on the game itself. Which that has more to do with the devs and how they made their game for each platform than anything else.
